Yoko welcomes Julia's touch as the professor begins to explore the transformed woman's curves. "You finally answered. Good." Yumi breathes a sigh of relief and a cold edge creeps into her voice. "Adam has not been seen since yesterday evening. I could not get in touch with you, so I sent the two girls, Felicia and Michio, to his dorm in order to check on him and then on you." The kitsune's hands, which were sliding up from Julia's waist, cease as Yoko overhears. "They have not gotten back to me yet, so I assume something is wrong. I am still busy covering your ass for missing most of the day, so go see what is wrong." Yumi abruptly hangs up.
Yumi wasn't too happy with her today, but she would explain later. This would be...complicated, to say the least. But with the news of Adam missing, Julia slowly removed herself from Yoko's touch, and stood up straight. This did sound pretty serious. Julia quickly gave a fast text to Yumi. Sorry. Promise to make it up to you later. I have good reasons, I swear. After issuing a reply, she looked to Yoko. "Well, I suppose this will be the start of seeing how our partnership goes. They went missing at the dorm, so it would be logical to check there first. I'm not sure if you truly have the senses of a fox, but likely, our abilities working together on this would be more effective."
Adam finds a small keyring in one of Castro's breast pockets. After trying a couple of them, he frees himself from his bonds. He also finds a blue plastic keycard which reads "Lt. Maria Castro" above a picture of the woman in question. Below the picture, another line of text states "1st Company, CTOE."
Spoiler: Perception Roll 10+20(Perception)=30 fail Destiny has little in the way of possessions. Aside from her deck, the only items of note are a small assortment of clothes in the closet, mostly black in color. Eventually, Felicia manages to find the former nun's stockings, unmentionables, etc. stored in a dresser, with a sheer, lacy set of bra, panties, garter belt, and stockings being particularly eye catching. Before long, Felicia feels the familiar warning that Dinah is casting a spell. Poking her head back out into the front room from Destiny's bedroom, the redhead sees Michio and Dinah guardedly walking towards the unconscious woman. "Mistress," Dinah spots Felicia. "What do you desire of me?"
Rubbing his chafed joints, Adam gets off the bed, binding Castro's wrists and ankles. He gags her mouth with her panties, before checking if the soldier has a firearm, and trying the keycard on the door.
Reading Julia's reaction, Yoko backs off to allow the professor to lead the way. "My senses are better than yours, daimyo, but I am no mere animal. When I must track someone, I track by magic. I doubt many of your kind will be capable of evading me for long." The kitsune gives her a predatory smile.
"When did she have time to go shopping!?" Felicia blushes as she shamefully had to go through Destiny's lingerie drawer. Should I also take Dinah shopping? She pondered, just as she closes the drawer. "They're here." Then as she felt Dinah's magic, she goes out to meet them. "I want you to examine her, try to break the spell that's putting her to sleep." The red-head gave her response, "Be careful though, I'm not sure if touching her will spread the curse or something."
The Lieutenant carries no weapons. The cell door smoothly slides open as Adam approaches. It seems the keycard does not require swiping through a reader in order to operate. Stepping out of the cell, Adam enters the spartan, white hallway which had become his world for the last few hours. Or days. It's hard to tell. A monitor sits to the left, its screen dark. The only door, other than re-entering the cell, is across the corridor.
God damn it... Of course I'm raped by the one soldier who doesn't carry a Goddamned gun... Adam looks back at his captor, ensuring she's properly restrained. "Goodbye, Lieutenant. You fucking psycho." Sighing, Adam checks the hallway for cameras, and if there are none, lets the cell door close behind him as he exits and goes to the other door. If there's a way to check what's on the other first, he does it, but if he can't, the young man simply goes through.
Yoko follows Julia to Adam's dorm. "Yes, mistress." Dinah nods. After a minute or two of visually scanning Destiny, Dinah kneels in front of the unconscious woman and mutters an incantation. Spoiler: Spirit Sensitivity Roll 21+10(Double Spirits)=31 fail Felicia's bond alerts her to the counterspell which Dinah is beginning to cast. Does the student permit Dinah's spell? Once Felicia's decision is made, Julia and an unfamiliar woman enter the room. Spoiler: Woman @Arachna Julia and Yoko arrive to find Michio guarding the entrance to Adam's flat. Destiny lies unconscious on the front room's couch. Felicia stands off to the side, watching Dinah. Dinah, in turn, is kneeling before the sleeping ex-cultist, seemingly casting some sort of spell. Spoiler: Destiny
Maria's bonds are secure and tight. She won't be getting away without assistance. Spoiler: Perception Roll 55=55 weak success Oddly, Adam doesn't see any cameras. The white hallway door has no label. It silently slides open as he walks near it. He enters another white corridor, but this new one is longer and displays a multitude of doors. The student just left through the door labeled "Cell 2." "Cell 1" is on his immediate right. "Cell 3" is its counterpart on the left. The next pair of plain portals after them read "Warden" on the right door and "Evidence" on the left.
Though she didn't think she needed to, Felicia nods anyway as she gives Dinah permission to cast her spell. What was that? She pondered as this was the first time she's felt the bond alert her of something. But before she could ponder further, Professor Meri arrives, with an unknown woman. "Professor, just in time, Dinah is about to try and undo the sleeping curse." Felicia said, while giving the unknown woman a curious look.
"I just got the message a while ago. Yumi seems mad at me. I'll sort that out later." She shook her head for a moment, before looking at the group and gesturing to the human form of the spirit. Julia half debated just explaining to the group now, but decided it might be better to stay mostly vague for now until there was a better time to do it. Maybe if they at least saw the value to keeping Yoko around as long as she could be kept under control, it would be easier to deal with. She didn't really feel like she should defend her exactly, but it was just more practical to keep her close than really allowing her to run off and do whatever she wants without knowing what she was up to. "For what you're wondering....yes, she's mostly caught up and used to these kinds of things. We have a kind of partnership of sorts. She might even be better a magic user than me....but not as sexy." She joked a bit. But it didn't last too much. "Let's worry about that later though. Let's focus on the problem."
"Someone sounds jealous." The new, purple-haired woman smirks from beside Julia. "Call me Yoko." She bows to the trio who were already in the dorm. Spoiler: Magic Sensitivity Roll (Julia) 28+20(Sorceress)=48 weak fail Destiny has some sort of sleeping spell affecting her. Dinah seems to be attempting to dispel it. After a few seconds, Yoko narrows her eyes and faces Felicia. "You do realize that your soulbound slave is attempting to escape your control as we speak, right?" Startled, Dinah silently ceases casting.
"Nice too meet you, I'm Felicia." She replies to Yoko who had introduced herself. Is she a teacher? But Julia was mentioning somethimg about spirit forms... could she be a card spirit!? Her eyes go wide as she pondered, especially as Yoko goes and mentioms what Dinah is actually up to. "She's what!?" Felicia gasps, looking at the soulbound nun. "You... so that's what that feeling was actually about." The red-head said to herself, frowning, "If you're going to be trouble... I might as well send you to where Carly is now." Felicia tries to go with a threat, though she doesn't want Uru to power up even more. She hopes it's enougn to deter Dinah from trying anything else in the future.
Hmm... Adam thinks to himself. His instinct is to go to the Evidence room, since that's likely where they have his deck, but he remembers how thoroughly outclassed he was last time he tried to fight. Maybe they're imprisoning someone who can do the hard part better than me... He checks Cell 1 and 3 to see if it has any occupants.
@Arachna Spoiler: Intimidation Roll Felicia: 96+10(Tyrant's Gaze)=106 crit. success "I-I'm sorry, mistress!" Dinah shrinks away, mortified. Felicia and Julia can both tell that she's been scared straight, at least for a while. "She was going to make her counterspell affect all spells in the room, which happens to include the one keeping her bound to you, angry one." Yoko gloats. "It wouldn't have worked, of course. That soulbinding spell is powerful indeed..." She ruminates, giving Felicia a knowing look. "Now, should I have at look at the sleeping one, Julia?" She looks to the professor for assent.
She did laugh a bit at Yoko, slightly hating herself for actually finding her kind of fun when they weren't trying to kill each other. But it was the threat from Felicia that made Julia stare. She knew Carley had went missing but, did Felicia... "So, that's what happened." She found it a little surprising, but seemed at a loss. "It's cold to say, but if you didn't do it first, she definitely would have done it to you. We would have had to kill her eventually, I fully believe that. If it hadn't happened sooner, it would have been much worse for everyone." She gave her thoughts to Felicia, which were mixed with less concern for Carley....but curious on what exactly Felicia did and how. Though hearing Yoko's thoughts, briefly weighed on it before nodding. "You're probably better probing dreams than I am. And it just wouldn't be dramatic enough to make any sudden moves so soon, wouldn't?" Julia's tone was clearly teasing. Despite the terms laid out, there was still a lot of risks for loopholes. However, showing at least some trust in Yoko would make her more willing to comply if she was interested in what was happening on her own. "Has your first day at school been as fun as you hoped?"
"Good choice." Felicia nods, letting out a discreet sigh as she didn't have to feed Uru even more. But as Yoko informs her that Dinah's spell wouldn't have worked anyway. Her eyes go wide, Was she... testing me? She thinks to herself, wondering what the deal was with the mysterious woman. And as professor Meri gives her a concerned look, "I didn't... she's not dead... not yet anyway." Felicia mumbles, sharing a bit of Carly's current situation. Then as Yoko is given permission to check on Destiny, Felicia takes a step back, motioning for Dinah to do the same. I'll need to keep a close eye on her, I suppose. She thinks to herself.
