Star Wars RP: Dark Council of Resurgence Sith Empire

The woman sighted.

"There is an escape passage, several, actually - one leading from outside of the city, but they are guarded and watched." She paused. "There is one less known about, but to use it, we would have to enter the space port."

 

“Hmm... The fewer guards and other security measures we have to deal with - the better. Tell me about the last one. And about the space port, while you're at it.”

 

"There is a hidden passage there, that connects to one of the rooms in the palace. It was built so that the royals could escape to the port in case of revolt...."

 

“And the port itself? I assume it is well-guarded...” That was the main concern for Crystal. Hopefully there were enough people at the port to make it easy for someone to “get lost” unnoticed...

 

"Not as well guarded as the Palace." The woman shrugged. "And while it's controlled, it's still used by civilian traders."

 

“Sounds good.” Crystal commented as she examined the woman. “By now your disappearance has been noted, no doubt. Do you think they will actively be searching for you? Or shrug and move on, not caring that one captive has escaped?”

(I thought I already replied, but apparently not.)

 

The woman winced.

"I was a high ranking officer in Queen's personal retinue... it's hard to say." She hesitated. "They will probably not seek me out actively, at least not when the war is still on. But they might be on lookout for me."

 

“I see.” Crystal nodded. “In that case you will need a change of appearance before you can go out. At the very least new clothes and different hair color and hairdo, to be on the safe side. Also, what should I call you? Using “woman” and “you” will grow old fast.”

 

"Helmet should suffice." The woman sighted. "I am Reri... you?"

 

“You may call me Chris.” It was a nickname she had used on occasion back when she had been a simple thief. “Very well, if you are sure a helmet is good enough, then let's find you a suitable one and then go to the spaceport. No reason to delay.”

(I decided not to waste time describing their preparations in detail. I hope that's alright.)

It took some time, but soon Reri switched clothes to a flightsuit with a helmet on.

With preparation done, now it was only a decision when to go and who to take with them...

 

Crystal decided it would be just her and Reri – less likely to attract attention that way. As for the time, late in the day seemed best: most people would be tired after a long day at work, while security would not be as tight as during the night.

 

The two left the ship. Reri lead Crystal through the forest - but to her surprise, in a direction opposite to the city. After some time, the two reached outskirts of the village. It was eerie silent

"It seems everyone escaped to the city." Reri commented as she walked forward, down the street.

 

“Understandable...” Crystal commented as she followed behind Reri. She was on alert for any sign of danger, using both her instincts of a thief and the force to detect any potential threats. Just because the village seemed empty did not mean it really was (though she would not complain if it turned out that it was empty).

As she grabbed the force, and checked the surroundings, the only things she felt, were small creatures, animals. There were no sentient living things in this village.

Rieri walked to one of the houses, that looked like any other and entered inside. It was a small house, for one family. As they walked inside, there were a number o things scattered on the floor. It looked like the house owners left in a hurry.

 

Silently Crystal followed behind Reri, still alert for any sort of danger. There seemed to be no living people left in or around the village, just some animals, but there could be mechanical threats, such as traps.

 

Reri moved to the basement. She moved around for a few moments.

"Where was it!" She cursed as she looked around. "Ah!" She smiled, and pushed wall - and nothing happened.

She cursed and looked around.

"It was somewhere here..."

It took her another ten minutes before she finally managed to push an appropriate thing, and a secret door opened, revealing a tunnel.

"This will take us to space port - but it's a long walk. We will be walking for several kilometres."

 

Crystal watched with amusement as Reri tried to find the secret passage, but did not comment.

“No problem, this is hardly the first time I take a long walk.” The darth lady replied with a shrug. It was true – as a former thief she'd had to make such long walks on more than one occasion in order to avoid attracting the attention of the authorities. This sort of thing was no problem for her even before training under Darth Lash. “After you.” She added as she prepared to follow behind her guide.

 

The two made their way through the corridor. It was dark, with only signaling low power lights lighting the way. The travel took them a couple of hours before they reached the door.

Reri looked through the visor.

"Sithspit." She cursed and turned to Crystal. "The room the exit is, is a small storage... and there are correctly two people there. We will have to either wait for them to leave, or take them down."

As Crystal looked out through the visor, she noticed two women in the room. One was sitting with her legs spread other knelt between her knees and... oh. Oh!

It looked like pilot and her mechanic were in deep discusion...

 

I see... Crystal hummed as she watched the pair, trying to ignore what they were doing and instead figure out if the two were close to finishing. If it looked like they would be done soon, then waiting for them to leave would not take long; if it seemed like they would be there a while... well, in that case it was unlikely that anyone would go looking for them, so it would be fine to knock them out...
