CHYOA Guru
You awaken with a start, bolting upright in bed, as a flash of light illuminates your room. Hovering in front of you is a letter, surrounded by a glowing silver aura. Tentatively, you reach out and grasp the letter, feeling an odd tingle as you tear the seal and looking at the contents.
Dear sir or madame,
It has come to the attention of the administrators of this facility that you are part of a growing group of superpowered individuals. You've been isolated, trying to discover how to control these powers and avoid the attention of the authorities. We'd like to help. The King James Finishing School is run by people like you, to help people like you. We'd like to invite you to enroll and move to our campus for adult students. At the school, you'll learn to control and strengthen your powers and use them for the good of mankind. Tuition is free, and privacy is guaranteed. You can be yourself - you're not alone anymore.
If you'd prefer to decline this offer, simply say so aloud, and the magical missive you're holding will disintegrate. If you're willing to give us a chance, please fill out the form below and drop it out the window - it will find its way back to us.
Sincerely,
Laura Silvers, Headmistress.

Character Sheet:
Name:
Age:
Picture/Description:
Codename:
Bio:
Contacts: (Optional - Family/Friends/Lovers/Acquaintances)
Nemesis: (Optional - an enemy or group of enemies out to defeat your character specifically.)
Nemesis Threat Rating: (Only relevant if you created a nemesis. Threat rating goes from 1, which represents effectively a villain of the week who's hopelessly out of their depth, to 5, a villain who's far more powerful than you are and who could easily do you a great amount of harm. Add 1 point for use in attributes, skills or equipment, per each level of threat rating.)
Primary Power: (Through levelling up, your character will get access to new powers that branch off from your primary power - for example, a telepath character might gain the ability to implant false memories or cause psychic damage. This is the main branch from which all other powers will stem. This does not have to be unique. You can take a power another player has chosen.)
Power Control: (From 1 to 5, this is a scale that measures your control over your power at the game's start. Having only one control means that your power is intense and well...powerful. The drawback is that, as the name suggests, it's hard to control - there'll be maluses to chance to hit, hijinks may ensue, etc. Vice versa, having control 5 means that you're getting bonuses, but the intensity of your power is diminished. Through the game, you'll begin to balance these more.
Attributes: (10 points to spend.)
Strength:
Agility:
Intelligence:
Vitality:
Charisma:
Skills: (5 points to spend. 1 point denotes talent, 2 points denotes mastery)
Equipment: (2 points to spend. 1 point is something useful in one or two situations like a specific tool or weapon - 2 points refers to something more substantially useful, like a personal fortune or friends in high places)
Flaws: (Minimum 1, maximum 3 - Flaws can refer to issues with your powers, or a character trait likely to get you into trouble. Each flaw gives you an extra point to spend in attributes, skills or equipment.)
