I've looked into the Howell Park Estates story, and it turns out that the original owner is still actively involved. Given that the creator is still managing and developing it, I don't see a need for anyone else to take it over at this time.

What we usually do is wait until a story's owner has been inactive for a good while—around six months or so—before stepping in. Since the owner of "Howell Park Estates" was active just 13 days ago, it seems that the story is still being actively managed by its owner.

I can only find it through the wayback.

So I know something happened but I don't know what. Am I able to adopt it?

It appears that Azaylia has deleted both her account and her story.

Queen Death was actually online within the last two weeks. You’re right, though—one of your chapters in that story was still under review. I've gone ahead and approved your chapter and added you as an editor for The Pregnancy Purge. Happy writing!
