Captain Helix saluted before turning to her duties. The governor left her bodyguards outside of her quarters and entered alone. Sitting by her desk, she turned on long range communication. After a few moments, on the screen, the face of Rodian appeared. "Ah, governor Votilik!" He greated, his tube mouth moving. He was seating in his office and she could see only the upper part of his body and desk. "Good tidings, I hope?" He asked, with the smugness only he could project.
Ahina managed to strip the woman, but her prostetic seemed to be getting in the way entire time. Finally, she managed to pull her to the tank - she realised Radia received a couple of wounds, both front and back. Spoiler: Knowledge 3 + 6 DC 10 fail As she closed the medic into the tank, she realised that the woman had very slim chances of survival.
Ahina take a look at console of the tank and decide to give a try with her engine skills to improve efficiency of the bacta healing Radia. “Come Radia, I know you can do it. You can survive this, just don’t give up”! She repeated as she does her best to save medic.
Spoiler: Medicine 3+ 14 vs DC 13+2 As Ahina's fingers desperately danced over the console, she soon realised the solution - increase the saturation of bacta in the tank. As soon as she did it, Radia seemed to have stabilised. At least, for now.
Ahina look relieved at naked Radia in the tank, seeing how she slowly gets healed. She wasn’t expert in medicine but it looks like it will take long time. She go to check console to see if there are some information from cameras what happened in the base.
There were no security cameras in the ifarny. Still, Ahina started checking the security system. But she quickly realised that the system was locked. Which was strange, theoretically, only high ranking Mandalorian could lock the system. Someone with higher clearance then her.
“So we have some genius hacker here or someone from higher ranks make mess here… both options sounds bad”. Ahina said to herself and take a look at wounded Radia. She can’t waits here as she get recovered. “I need get my armour back, it must be in armoury”. Ahina said and go to armoury, with blaster ready to shoot. Then she put hand on her head. “Wait, I can use pieces of Radia armor, maybe at least her helmet “. She said to herself and put on herself protective gear.
As Ahina checked the armour, she realised she could use it. Maybe it was not exactly as it should be done, or in accordance with traditions, but it fit... somewhat. After a few minutes, she was ready with Radia's blaster in hand and wearing her armour.
Ahina felt little guilty for taking Radia’s armour and leaving her nothing to wear, but situation was far from normal and it required unconditional solutions. “I will give you back your things after solving this crisis Radia”. Ahina said to Radia in bacta tank and leave medical bay. Carefully she aheaded to command centre, to get some data what happened here.
The moment the Cathar walked out of the med-bay, she found scorched marks of blasters on the walls. Spoiler: Perception 11 vs DC 10 - success As she walked through the corridor and glanced into one of the rooms, she spotted movement. She had to immediately back off as blaster fire flew from inside. Crack! Several blasters hit the wall where her head was moments ago.
Ahina take cover behind the corner, by instinct she shots back at source of fire. But then she realises she could shoot someone from her clan. “Hey, you there!! Stop fire, I’m Mandalorian!” Ahina shouted, without leaving cover. She stayed ready, in case if shooters threw at her explosives.
Spoiler: Blaster 4 + 11 vs DC 13 - success Her few blasters flew true and she knew she had hit - by the sound of a body hitting the floor. She paused, and called, but there was no reply from inside.
Ahina decided be careful and slowly approach place where she shot, with blaster ready to fire. There was possibly that she take alone enemy.
As she entered the room, she found a table, that was turned over and used as a shield - and behind it, the person who attacked her. A Mandalorian. A dead Mandalorian - Ahina managed to hit his neck and kill him.
“Shit!” Ahina managed to say only that. There was no words what she could say by killing her clan member. It filled her with sorrow but also turned her heart cold. She is going to find one responsible for this accident and bring him to justice. Ahina get ready her blaster and go forward to command centre.
Leaving the dead behind, the young woman made her way through the corridor, towards the command center. The further she walked the more signs of combat she found. Soon, she walked upon a downed body of Mandalorian. The warrior was laying on his back, blaster pistol laying next to the body. Several scrotch marks on armor... And some blood under the body.
Ahina picked up his blaster pistol and checked his neck if he still breathing. She didn’t hope for much, but if he is still alive, she will ask him some questions. “What is happening here? Who is attacking us”? She ask and then continues her road to command centre.
The Mandalorian was dead. Now armed with two blasters, Ahina made her way further down the corridor. As she made it to the crossing, she found two Mandalorians standing in the passage.
Ahina get her blasters ready taking cover behind corner. “Hey, you there! Why are we fighting each other?! We are all from same clan!” She asked them, ready to dodge explosive or blaster shot
As soon as Ahina opened mouth, and first letter escaped her mouth, the first blaster bolts started flying. Spoiler: Combat 3+3 vs DC 14 3+5 vs DC 14 She managed to hide behind the cover as the blaster bolts slammed into the wall where her head was. "It's fucking Radia!" One screamed. "Kill her!" The other called.
