Clara nodded her head, and the two drove in the rain into the dark night. A new song started playing... The two drove I silence. After some time, the car drove into underground garage, under their haven. The warm light started up - a few cars were present. Clara stopped the car and got out - as Chloe followed her, she realised just how quiet it was, so late in the morning. As she looked up, she noticed a camera - something she missed before. Clara made her way to the elevator. "Master, should be in." She noted as she looked to the side, in direction where a couple of expensive looking cars stood.
“It appears Hector has company,” I say as we pull in. I head to his study to speak with him before it's time to turn in for the day.
Clara followed Chloe as the two made their way to the elevator, then travelled up to their apartment. As Chloe entered the study, she found Hector present - he turned towards her, and smiled seeing her. "Chloe. Come in." He waved his hand invitingly. As she looked around, she found that the guest, standing by the window, was Marcus. He nodded to her politely in greeting.
I blush at the sight of Marcus. I remember how he humiliated and degraded me last time. I push those feelings down and walk over to Hector. “Sire, there was a strange woman. A Malkavian. She didn't make much sense, but she talked about a ball. I was just curious. Maybe hopeful.
The two looked at each other, before turning to look at Chloe. "The Prince, did announce her decision to organise a ball in coming nights." Hector hummed. "But that decision was made no so long ago..." "Fucking Lunatics." Marcus grumbled. "Yes, the members of this clan can be... Disturbing to be around." Hector looked at her with sympathy in his eyes. Before he could continue, other man interrupted him. "The Malkav, what's her name?" Marcus asked.
I look back and forth between the brothers, and my dirty mind wonders if they share everything. “She didn't say. I was with an… well, to me, an elder. I don’t have a better term. His name was Becket. He said she caused a lot of trouble in Los Angeles. That she was new. Like me. Honestly for a short while I thought she might try to kill me and Becket.”
Hector frowned, but Marcus' reaction was more telling, as surprise was clear on his face. "Becket? The Grangel scholar?" He asked, surprised. "That's a familiar name." Hector said slowly. "It should be. Becket is one of the leading historians of Kindred's lore and history." Marcus but then frowned. "Malkvian causing trouble in LA... His eyes widened a fraction before his head snapped sharply as he looked at Chloe. "Describe her." He all but demanded.
“I uh… Gangrel…” I look a bit confused at all this new information. “She was pretty. Dark hair and, of course, pale skin. She’d killed someone right before I saw her. Beheaded him.” I give an uneasy follow-up. “Should I be worried.”
Marcus cursed. "Yes." He answered shortly, before snapping at Hector. "What exactly have you taught her, that she doesn't even know what Grangrel is?!" He barked, annoyed. "I guess I will be taking over her education, or rather lack of it." "Marcus!" Hector got up, his face twisting with anger- "No!" Marcus barked back, exploding in anger. "Do you have any idea who your Childe met today!? A grim reaper from LA! A Malkvian who, twenty years ago, was just a few nights old, has reshaped the landscape of LA! She faced and defeated dozens of Sabath, cultists, inquisitors, mad Vampires, Kui-jin and Tzimitze's Szlachta! She faced a fucking Gargoyle and Werewolves! Why do you think they are together at the same place, again?" Hecotor paled. "You don't think-" "They are both hunting for something Hecto. And their hunt, brought them here." Marcus inhaled. "And if the Malkav decides to reshape the stage of Warsaw while she is here..." Hector swallowed, then he looked at Chloe. "But that doesn't explain-" He started, but was quickly interrupted. "Hector! When your Childe meets Malkavian again without a proper preparations, who do you think will pay the price if she fucks up?" Marcus asked, then sighted. "I know, that you are driven by your passions, but we both know you are not a teacher material. Let me prepare her... you will be introducing her to society." Hector paused, then with a sigh, nodded his head. "Marcus... don't..." "I know. I will not." The man nodded, and the two reached an agreement.
I look between the feuding brothers. “Don’t I get a say in this? I’m not a new iPhone that one of you has a hard time setting up!” I glare between them. I am feeling incensed that they are treating me like property. My fangs show as I continue. “I’m a person. A person who has had so much taken from her and been given a different life. My heart may no longer beat, but I still have my will!”
Marcus paused, and turned to Chloe. "First lesson, Childe." He said, as he slowly walked to her. "What rules the Kindred's world are traditions and strength. The voice that escaped his lips sent a shiver down Chloe's spine. Were his eyes always so beautiful? Was his voice always so enthralling? "Or toy, to be broken." He said as he put his hand on her cheek, which she greedily pushed her face to, cooing. He paused, and suddenly the magic was gone - she could still feel the attraction but it was not that strong... as she was on her knees, her cheek still in the man's palm. I stare up at Marcus with hate. “You love taking my free will away. What could I learn from you other than being a bully?” I try to move, but my body will not obey. Part of me enjoys this, but I’ll be damned, no pun intended, if I admit it.
Slowly, Emilia recovers, getting up on shaky legs, before moving over, sliding her arms around Niki's naked body, kissing her younger lover's neck softly.
"Coolish Childe." Chloe can see a displeasure on Marcu's face. "I am teaching you, trying to make you understand... just how little you understand." He paused. "Call it, a hands-on experience." He started moving around her. "Or, care too test, if I would make you feel love to be controlled? To be... bullied?" He leaned over and whispered into her ear. "Do you want me, to show you, how much I can reshape you despite your best efforts into a doll?" He asked. "Would you even know, if I restored you back to what you were?"
Niki hummed lightly as Emilia hugged her. "Another week ended." She said as she sighed. After a moment, she went escaped Emilia's embrace and walked to her clothes. She started putting them on. "I guess we should be done for today~" She smiled as she picked up a bag with documents. "Don't forget to close the office!" her secretary said as she left the room, with a skip in her heels, leaving Emilia alone.
