Hello, I could use some assistance. I've been writing my own story branch in the Character's for Sale story. I went to publish my latest chapter today https://chyoa.com/chapter/Intermission-#2.1809791 and I received the In Review notification. I haven't received this notification since I initially posted my first nine chapters several months ago. Unfortunately, the stories owner hasn't been on here for 16 days to approve my newest chapter. Could someone please help me?

 

Never mind! I deleted the chapter, and rewrote it. This time it allowed me to publish the chapter

 

Hi, I'm writing my first story(or adding a new brach to an already existing story hub, it seems) and already have a few chapters waiting 'on review' mark.

In this case, if I want to get my chapters approved quickly, should I post every chapter by link? Or is it enough to put on the first chapter of my branching pathways?

Also, what does it mean when someone is added as an editor of the story? What does that change in a writing perspective?

Hi! Thanks for reaching out! I’ve gone ahead and approved your chapters, and I also added you as an author on the story. From here on out, any new chapters you add to that story should be published automatically.

As for editor status: an editor has access to the entire story and can edit other users’ chapters (and generally help maintain/organize the story). From a writing perspective, it’s basically a collaboration/maintenance permission level. In your case, author status is sufficient for what you need (getting your chapters published automatically).
