Sun gives much warm and light in the coming day, sunlight crossed branches of the big, lonely tree, as Jazmina finished packing her camp. It was five days since she crossed border from Mexico, and today she should reach Coyote Bluff, if nothing delays her on the road. Jazmina learn from the tips of travelling merchant, that Coyote Bluff is not far away. She feels urge to smoke tobacco, her morning ritual. Smiling, she grabbed her things and went down. She hopped the horse and rode of the city, but moving in different direction then the rider... Then when she was out of the city, beyond it's visible borders she turned and rode to intercept the rider.
She doubted that she would catch up to him... But maybe she could catch him on his way back? She just needed to find a place for an ambush... Or maybe surprise him when he would be camping...

Kate have some luck and on her way, she managed to find courier far away from the city. He ride pretty fast, as worker of Pony Express he will soon change his horse in the station, so he could not giving rest to his horse. Kate find him on the open field.

Kate horse was one of the best in the army and she was good rider, so she managed to reach not far away from the courier. He spotted that Kate has bandana on her face and he pull out his rilfe, aiming at her as he stopped horse for better aim.
