Seri fidgets with the dress - not entirely the most practical, or concealing, but preferable to cavorting around like a dancing girl. She’s been there, lived the life, isn’t going back. She frowns, tilting and folding the material to see how much she can work with the sheerness of it.

“That would be, actually really great.” She grins weakly at Nami, who’s at least managed something a little more practical. If still very form-flattering. “If you can spare it, that is! Really just something I can add under the dress, so I’m not traumatising you all with the full display.” She adds a airy chuckle, trying to get over the awkwardness of her clothing woes

“Of course.” Nami nods. “Let’s all go through and see what – what we can find in there.”

She hesitates a moment to lead the others to her quarters, wondering what kind of mess she’s left the place in, rushing from one thing to the next. She’s not used to having company on board, and she wonders what sights her new friends are about to stumble upon – but, she has more than her own embarrassment to think about. Although she’s not sure what clothes are left in storage there; given that she isn’t even sure where the things she’s wearing now came from. There has to be something that would fit Seri and some of the others, at least until they can find the credits to restock.

Seri hitches her blanket, wrapping it around herself like a towel, fidgeting as she tries to tie it in a fashion that doesn’t squash her tits all the way up to her chin. She feels a little silly, knowing that Nami - and most likely the others - have seen all there is to see. But it’s something she can control.

She leans in, side-on against her new… friend? She supposes saviour is more accurate. She squeezes Nami’s arm briefly, a silent, further thank you, for yet another display of generosity.

“That would be fantastic, honestly.” She pauses, looking slightly glum for a moment, false hope in her words, “I don’t suppose I had anything… on me, when I was found? Gear or… anything?”

There’s a warm feeling of comfort for Nami in Seri’s touch, enough to make her lean into the contact as well. This kinship she feels with all of – of Thassco’s other victims. Is there some reason it seems perhaps especially strong in this case? Maybe it’s because, even before knowing her name, Seri figured so heavily in her thoughts and planning up to this point. Maybe it’s to do with pheromones. Or maybe…it just is.

The twinge of sympathy she feels at Seri’s relatable question adds to that sense. “I’m sorry,” she says. “By the time we found you, it was just…you, in a cell.” She shakes her head. “We might find some of your belongings somewhere on the other ship, but…is there anything in particular you’re hoping to find?”

Seri let’s Nami take the lead, not wanting to overstep and barge her way into her room. She finds herself lingering as her bare arm presses the thin material of the Nautolan’s shirt, a soft, comforting prickle travelling along her upper arm.

She feels exhausted and sore, but strangely - and for the first time in a long time, genuinely - safe. It’s not something she can entirely define, but she knows it’s localised to Nami. Still, she feels a lump in her throat as it’s confirmed she’s lost everything.

She tries hard to steady her voice, keep her tone bright, but there’s a subtle crack that might only be detected by the most observant or empathetic. “That’s okay! Worth - worth asking, right? No I just - um - I had some things I, I - well it doesnt matter. I’m alive, that’s what’s important.”

“Oh, of course!” Nami turns to her. “I only – I mean, some things can be replaced, but you – you can’t.”

She catches herself on the brink of trying to hug Seri, not sure if that would be going too far – aware that she herself will likely dissolve into tears again if she does it. For the moment she hovers, half-poised, looking for some sign.

Seri’s pheromones are dodgy at the best of times, tampered with and distorted by Kylos’ genetic tinkering. And her mind is racing with a heady mix of both relief and latent despair. So is she reading Nami right?

Then the other woman speaks again, and the lump in Seri’s throat breaks. Replaced, but you - you can’t. This woman she’s known all of five minutes may have just said the kindest thing she’s ever heard. The petite Zeltron gives her a watery smile, gulping, tentatively stepping in, and then giving everything she has to a tight squeeze of a hug. She genuinely isn’t sure which of them might need it more, but she knows she really does.

Any hesitation is gone as Nami throws her arms around Seri, hugging back for all she’s worth. She still manages to somehow feel a glimmer of guilt over this, but it’s barely a drop in the ocean of the moment. Her chest, pressed tightly against Seri’s, heaves and shudders as quiet sobs start to bubble up from deep inside. She sinks into the soft warmth of the embrace, incapable of words, only able to hope she’s offering some comfort in return.

Seri is all but lost in the tightness of the embrace, emotion washing over her as she falls into the same tender ocean. She clings tight, her pink flesh close enough to Nami’s blue that they could almost make purple. “It’s - it’s okay…” she murmurs, even as her own tears spill free, and she shudders softly.

Delicately at first, but then with deeper affection, she strokes a hand over Nami’s flowing lock-like tentacles, cradling the back of her head as she nestles in, cheek to cheek, breast to breast, the softness of their bodies. She sways a little, in the moment, her knees weak, fighting the urge to simply collapse and hold, and be held.

A sigh escapes from Nami, as Seri’s stroking of her sensitive head-tresses sends soothing tingles through her. Gradually the flood of emotion eases to a warm flutter. Emotions that it will still take her some time to fully unpack, but it’s all so much easier to deal with just now.

Able to steady herself, she tries to help support Seri’s weight, feeling both of their hearts beat; her eyes contentedly closed. Her hand gives Seri’s shoulder a grateful squeeze. “I should be the one telling you it’s okay,” she mumbles. “Thank you…”

Seri slowly draws back, after a long, soothing moment. She’s still a whirl of feelings, not all of them easy to define, but she manages a gentle smile, wiping at her eyes with the back of her hand. The other stays attached, settling on Nami’s elbow.

“Kriff, I’m a state. But I needed that.” She attempts a watery chuckle, then rights herself, slipping her arm through Nami’s companionably. She very much wants to maintain that connection, that feeling of mutual support. But even with the knowledge that it means something to Nami too, she doesn’t want to overstep. “And you’re welcome. Very welcome. Now, I think some clothes were to be investigated?”

Nami exhales, more relaxed now, more at ease, though very glad of Seri’s arm linked through hers. She manages a smile, her black eyes shining more than usual through her tears.

“Y-yes. Clothes. Absolutely. Um.” She clears her throat and gives a nod to Jura and Kaelaen as well. “Let’s all go, see what – what I have left in there.”

She leads the way through to her living quarters, the small but comfortable space she’s always made do with. The bed still a mess, several drawers open from her earlier rummage for something to wear. At least she didn’t leave the sex toys on display again.

“Seri, we can step out and let you get changed into whatever you like,” she says, pointing to where the remaining clothes are stored, “and then we can take the rest for whoever needs it.” She glances guiltily down at how little of the rest there is that she hasn’t managed to get damaged or stained in her recent escapades. “There’s more that – I’ll need to get it all washed,” she mumbles.

As the two started moving through the clothes, Nami and Seri quickly realised that there was a one thing they did not take account for. Due to her specific history, Seri's attributes were quite prominent - more so in comparison to aquatic Nautolan.

Boots were not a problem, thankfully. The panties were stretchy, the pants, were a challenge and little difficult to move in. There were a few skirts. The bras were generally a no go, Seri could not even clip them. There were a few baggy shirts, that she filled nicely, stretching the material. The jacket, while opened, fit her quite well - she could not zip it through... Well, she could zip it halfway.

Seri tries her hardest not to fawn over Nami’s quarters. To her, it’s perfect - moreso because of the mess, which she interprets as signs of a life lived - a tiny world of Nami’s own. The thought sends another ripple of emotion through her chest, a sense of longing, too sweet to be envy. She lets out a soft murmur, looking around with nosy abandon.

“I don’t think I put it together that this is all yours. The ship I mean. It’s perfect.” She meets Nami’s full, dark eyes earnestly, “it’s like nothing I - I mean, you must be so proud.”

It’s like nothing I’ve ever had. She stops herself from saying, not wanting to seem self-indulgent. She busies herself with the clothes instead, but notes Nami’s mumbles, that glance. She doesn’t want to pry, not yet at least, but she’s beginning to get the feeling that Nami herself, has been through hell too.

She dresses in the corner with her back to the others, not quite ready to be alone yet. Her skin prickles softly as she strips and dresses, painfully aware of the bruises over her body, and the brand on one pink buttock. Eventually, she’s dressed, in awkwardly tight pants, and the half zipper jacket, which she’s fairly sure she’s been able to style, over a spacious shirt, which she knots behind her, leaving a slash of cerise midriff. Shyly, and then with a little dancer’s twirl, she spreads her arms and turns, feeling much better with a few layers on.

Nami can’t help but smile at the way Seri talks about the ship, her ship. “I – I’d be lying if I said I’m not proud of her,” she says, resting her hand fondly on the wall. “I’ll have to tell you the story of how it all happened some time.”

She looks away as Seri gets changed, trying her best to offer some kind of privacy, dignity. She does have to stare a bit as she admires the final result, though. It’s such a transformation from the woman she and Sau found unconscious in a cell, even if there is still healing left to do, in more senses than one.

“How do you feel?” she asks. “If you’re happy, then what’s left can go to – to whoever needs it.”

She feels a pang at the thought of giving these things up. Her somehow dwindling list of possessions. But sharing is different from losing. And it’s no good for her to go around fully dressed when the others are doing without.

Seri wiggles her shoulders, rolling back the sleeves of Nami’s jacket, unable to keep a satisfied grin off her face. Despite the dull aching in her limbs - and other, deeper areas - she feels good, refreshed and comfortable. She’d be lying too, if she said there wasn’t a part of her that feels comforted in her borrowed clothes; Nami’s clothes.

She nods eagerly, making a mental note to quiz Nami fully on that story and others, when they have a chance. “I can’t thank you enough. Well, I mean, I owe you a lot more than clothes. But this is so much better.” She steps in for another hug, squeezing Nami tight. “So, I mean. How many others are there here?”

@majus
@Elfie

“Please don’t worry about— oh!” Nami is caught a little by surprise, but gladly returns the hug. “I think Thassco told me there were twenty. He’s – he was the man who bought— I don’t know if you were awake to see him.” She looks at Jura and Kaelaen. “I’m not sure we ever did a proper head count, before. There was a lot going on…”

@majus
@lady-lux

Seri detaches herself, hoping that she isn’t over doing things. The name Thassco means nothing to her, but clearly something to the others, and her eyes flick between Nami and the other women, cautiously.

“Twenty.” She mouths, horrified, a shiver running across her shoulders, causing a soft spasm.

@majus
@Elfie

“I know.” Nami feels a similar shudder, the events all too real in her mind. “I couldn’t believe he would…” She shakes her head, trying to dislodge the memories. “The other ship’s bigger than this one. But, uh, not made for comfort. We still have a few things to figure out, besides clothes.”
