Alexander calmed down after Mira destroyed the last piece of slime. He lowered the gun and had time to think for a moment. That fight was entirely too difficult for the level of creature they had faced. The limited manouvrebility in the small rooms gave the slime creature a clear advantage. His military and police training was useless, for the most part, as the creature was nearly immune to firearms. He would have to pay Woody a visit to find some alternative weapons, but you can't carry a weapon for every possible foe. Especially not when trying not to draw attention, can't really conceal a cricket bat, now can you?
Alexander came out of his contemplation and ejected the last round out of Sarah's gun, the glowing hue of the enchantment had already dissapated. Looking to his two companions, he saw Mira between the legs of Sarah, the blonde all-American girl was drenched with water—and whatever else the remains of the slime demon was made of—her blonde hair dark and matted to her head and shoulders. He could not understand how the blonde was not absolutely stricken with cold shivers, sitting in this cold, dark and damp mausoleum with nothing on her body. If they didn't dry her and her clothes, she'd become hypothermal. He didn't know if Sarah's ability prevented viral infection as well but if not, she'd become bedridden.
He could only shake his head at the dusky skinned girl between Sarah's legs. She was not much better off, sitting in her drenched panties. Her trousers and boots discarded by the creature. Once again the Polish girl put her own pleasure before the well being of her or her own comrades. Neither Mira nor Sarah were in need of immediate magical replenishment, this place was far from secure or optimal for seuxal contact. They'd both be coated in wet, old dust by the end of it. If the Polish firebrand needed a short leash to be an asset to the team, he'd have to hold the other end. The German heart that had slowed after the fight had ended, flared up at the incompetence at display.
'WAS FÜR EINE ARSCHVERFICKTE KINDERKACKE IST DAS DENN HIER? HABT IHR VÖLLIG DEN VERSTAND VERLOREN? RUMFUMMELN, WENN WIR KEINE AHNUNG HABEN, OB DA NOCH MEHR FEINDE SIND? DER DÄMON HAT DOCH NICHT MAL SARAHS ENERGIE ABSORBIERT! HIMMEL, ARSCH UND ZWIRN![1]' he shouted at them in a voice so loud it reverberated in the small chamber like thunder. He hoped that his tone and volume made his intent known without them understanding everything he said.
He pointed to Mira, 'Mira, get up and get your fucking clothes on!' He went over to Sarah and helped her to her feet. Alexander took off his bomber jacket and put it around her shoulders like he had done that first night.
'You're gonna catch your death, lying drenched in slime on that cold granite floor,' he told her. He picked up the magazine from the floor and put it in the gun which he then put in one of the jacket's pockets, 'There, thanks for the help back there. Sorry the thing got you in the end.' He rubbed the cut on his nose, 'We'll have to have a word about guns, though, sometime. But not now.'
He turned to Mira, confirming she was getting her clothing. 'We're getting out of here and the both of you and your clothing dry before we go any further,' Alexander ordered them. He picked up Sarah's discarded clothing and shoved them in Mira's arms, 'Hold onto this, if you're so eager to pry them off her.'
Putting his arm around Sarah's back and thighs, he lifted her in his arms, 'Mira, flashlight. Don't want to stumble with Sarah.'
With Mira taking point, they went back to the entrance. Vary, that the Sheriff might be waiting for them at the entrance, because someone heard the gunshots.
[1] WHAT FUCKING CHICKEN SHIT IS THIS? HAVE YOU BOTH LOST YOUR MIND? FOOLING AROUND WHEN THERE COULD BE MORE ENEMIES? THE DEMON DID NOT EVEN DRAIN ANYTHING FROM SARAH! BLOODY HELL!
