Story and Chapter Ranking: Likes per Unique Views

I don't get the "A vs B" discussion here. Why not have both? More suggestions on the front page is always good. People come here, they look for guidance. At the moment, they have "recent updated" stories, new stories and 20 best voted chapters/stories, with some overlaps (which have been even worse in the past).

I like the idea, I'd be very curious what the algorithm will discover, but I don't see this as "one or the other".

One thing is sure: There are some marvellous stories here that don't get enough exposure. I sometimes find stuff where I wonder how this could escape me for so long.

 

I wouldn't mind having more than one top section. (It just shouldn't be too cramped and if two lists show basically the same results, one should be removed)
