I really want to upload this GIF to my story but it isn't recognized.

Unfortunately, that doesn't help. (I searched for the same image on other sites but didn't found a source.)

Well, you can download the image and upload it on a site that allows hotlinking.

I don't use images in chapters, so no.

There are more threads about that on the forum but I'm not sure about how many different sites they suggest. (search term "hosting")

 

I use imgur when need be. If it's nsfw pictures, be sure not to "publish" the pictures... or else they might get taken down. The default is not to publish so you should be fine as long as you don't do that.

To get a link from imgur that works to link in your chapters here, I recommend opening your image as a new tab once you've got it uploaded, then copy/pasting the address that was on that tab.
