Writing about breast size

1- Cup sizes are not consistent with themselves. There's is no mathematical order and neither correlation between the measures of bras and the actual volumes of the breasts they are build to encase.(???)
But this statement is true, in terms of cup sizes by themselves. It is an objective reality. As long as you cannot contradict it, everything you say is irrelevant.

The height might range from 5'2" to 5'8"
And they could be anything from fit to skinny.

So there is still room for very different band sizes that would result in different cup sizes for the same optical size.

Possibly even taller, especially with the amount of superhero stories on here...

I dunno, I still think using bra size to describe a woman's breasts is like using underwear size to describe a man's penis.

Rather catchy, but no, it's nothing alike as male underwear don't come in different crotch sizes.
Wanna try with hats and heads?

On that note though, if you want to utilise bra sizes in your story it's your story to do with as you please.

How generous of you.
I have stated previously I didn't want to encourage the use of bra sizes more than necessary when writing, I only cared to discuss about their descriptive effectiveness.
But there you are, I reapeated it. For you.
See, I'm generous too.

I think this should be clear with the models given in the previous posts.

So I'd say it's obvious that the cup size has no correlation to the optical size, the actual size, or the volume.

But I'm open to any mathematical model that proves this wrong.

Are you referring to the whole 'rectangular boobs' thing you posted before?
Well, I'm don't have the ability nor the will to build a mathematical model for you, I'm sorry.

So there is still room for very different band sizes that would result in different cup sizes for the same optical size.

Looks like we're running in circles.

Yes.
If you ask 10 girls, who have the exact (!) same figure including breasts, what bra size they wear, you will probably get 5 different answers.

This is an outrageous exaggeration and you know it.
But I'll forgive you, I'm very generous after all.;)

That means that everyone can and will have a different perception of a certain cup size.

That's what you think of it, it is quite clear to me now, thanks for the repetition.

But this statement is true, in terms of cup sizes by themselves. It is an objective reality. As long as you cannot contradict it, everything you say is irrelevant.

I did.
I mean, you can ditch whatever I write as bullshit, that's for sure, but I still fail so see what's so objective about your argumentations.

Seems like we've reached a standstill guys.
I suppose we must agree to disagree.
Be well.

Basically, yes.
I mean, you could do the same thing with more rounded models and slightly different assumptions but I'm sure that you will get very similar results.

This is an outrageous exaggeration and you know it.
I don't think that it is really exaggerated.
A lot of women don't wear the "perfect fit" and there can be differences in manufacturing and designing as well.
A friend of mine, for example, bought bras of 3 different sizes.
There might also be some girls who choose a bigger cup for "bragging" purposes. (Depending on their self-confidence and maturity.)

So I don't think this is exaggerated.
And I'm sure you will get at least 3 different answers.

The basic problem is that most people — men and women alike — don't understand how bra sizes work.
I mean, if they do, they should be able to explain how bra sizes work.

It seems like.
