Someone on the ship was going to have it somewhere, most likely in the officer's quarters, at worst case scenario, but she figured it probably wouldn't come to that as she sorted through the various things ranging from actual use or not. She mostly kept to taking along light objects like gunpowder and medicine for a reason, and had thought to properly label them at least.
