It's really hard to make up my mind. Both would be good options. I kind of like the purity of the first one, but milfy characters are hard to pass up on doing. It's quite the conundrum.
Name: Melissa Fitzgerald Gender: Female Sexual Orientation: Straight Age: 38 Former Job: Grade school teacher, housewife. Specialisation: Mage (Fire and wind specilization) Skills: Fire magic 1 Wind magic 2 Mana control 2 Mind altering 1 Equipment: Enchanted wedding ring 5 (The source of most of her powers. Melissa can channel mana into her ring, allowing her to transform. Her transformed state, which she uses only if there's no other choice, mostly due to how revealing her "combat uniform" is due to her powers stemming from the essesnce of the succubus that almost drained all of her husband's life force. In her transformed state, Melissa's powers are doubled.) Effects when transformed: Doubles the effects of her spells Demonic strength (equivalent to a low ranked demon) Demonic speed (equivalent to an average demon) Corruptive essence (Due to the ring's power stemming from a succubus, if Melissa stays transformed for more than 30 minutes. The succubus' demonic influence will slowly seep into her soul.) Background: Melissa lead an ordinary life, she's smart, hardworking, and a little bit prudish. She married her highschool sweet heart when she was 20. Soon after she got pregnant, and gave birth to their son. She took care of the house, while her husband went to college to become a lawyer. A few years passed by, Melissa happily spent time tending to their home, and to her son. Where she discovered the joy of teaching, so after her husband entered joined a prestigious firm, and her son was old enough to attend kindergarten. Melissa decided to continue her studies to become a teacher. More years went by and the Fitzgerald family's peaceful days continued. Her husband had become a partner at the firm, her son was just about to enter college. Up until the night Melissa went to pick up her husband from his office. There she saw a scene that broke her heart. At the almost empty law firm, when Melissa peeked into her husband's office. She saw him on his back, being ridden by a beautiful dark skinned woman. Various emotions welled up within her, anger, and sorrow as her husband had been cheating on her. Along with a strange form of arousal, which the woman seemed to elicit from everyone that saw her. Then, just as Melissa was about to call them out. The things that happened next made her think she was having a nightmare. Bat like wings emerged from the dark skinned woman's back, along with a pair of curved horns growing out the crown of her skull. The worse part was when the woman kissed her husband, green light emerged from their lips. And the next moment he rapidly aged, his dark hair turned white, his skin wrinkled, and turned pale. Melissa knew she should have ran away, but her deep love for her husband made her barge in. Pushing the woman away, she barely managed to stop the succubus from draining him completely. Interrupting the demon's fun, Melissa was instantly put in danger. And as the succubus was about to use her husband's freshly stolen life force to kill her. The demon's attack was absorbed by her wedding band, saving her life, and surprisingly weakening the succubus. Yet, Melissa still had no way to fight back. Luckily, the bureau arrived just as the demon attempted to strangle her. Unfortunately, the succubus was smart, and using what magic she had left, she managed to escape. Yet her husband's appearance was still that of a decrepit old man. With the bureau explaining how the only way to revert it was to kill the succubus that did it, Melissa joined them, eager to gain the power to protect her family. Before the bureau took her away for good, Melissa asked to be left alone with her husband. Vowing to slay the demoness, and leaving a hidden note for her son. She left to start her new life. Spoiler: Conner Fitzgerald Melissa's husband. A hard working, family man. They met in their first year of highschool, where he nervously asked her out. They immediately hit it off, and have been together ever since. Spoiler: Tyler Fitzgerald The product of Melissa and Conner's love. A good looking teen, with average height. And just like his father, he's a shy, introverted boy. Though, the cause was his mother's beautiful appearance, and curvy body. The fact that she was a grade school teacher didn't help. Since everyone seemed to want to he friends with him, for the sole reason of getting to see the "MILF" or "TILF" a whole lot more. Personality: Calm, loving mother. Only joined the bureau to protect her son, and kill the succubus that stole her husband's life force. Character picture (optional): Spoiler: Loving housewife and mother by day Spoiler: Magical milf by night
So I probably will go Alicia over Alice and have the daughter as someone to switch to later. Might be a little jerkish, but I don’t really think I’ll have her for npc roles because while characters being seduced isn’t an issue, the purity angle is pretty much the reason I’d want to play her so if she ends up just getting fucked by tons of people before I even use her and her virginity is taken before I even do anything about it..that’s..yeah. So she’ll probably have a very marginal role at most until I decide I want to swap them , if that’s fine.
Not jerkish at all. So she's an active member of the Knight's Templar? I wonder how that'll play out with her new job.
I mean, my idea was they were currently at a trial period with this other group, to see if they could be working more closely together. The general view of the Knights to other Hunters is, while resource rich and effective, they see all supernatural are equally evil(Which all things considered of how these things work, isn’t even an unreasonable attitude), and their whole secret art of Prominence, is genuinely terrifying. As it stands, other hunter factions work with them if needed, but nobody is exactly looking to be best friends with them. So Alicia is part of a small group of knights in one of the parts of the world, they’re less established in, so they are looking to this demon hunter society to see if they can work with each other.and if not, the demon corruption has therefore poisoned them all into being puppets, and the only reasonable response will be to purge the entire syndicate.
After thinking about it I decided to go with Enchanting for Seres' fianl skill. I have edited the post accordingly. Still not sure about her equipment. How much would each of the four pieces I have so far - tome, nun outfit, and the two pearls - cost? Would any of them cost 2 points instead of one?
And the rest 1 each? If so, then I am finished with her equipment and will edit the post accordingly.
Alright, thanks. All that is left is her personality, but I might leave that for later and make it up as the game goes. Is there anything else that is wrong or missing from my character, or is she done?
Name: Dr. Rebecca Vespa Gender: Female Sexual Orientation: Bisexual Age: 28 Former Job: Veterinarian Specialization: Druid Link Skills: Animal Shapeshifting (Upgraded) - At its most basic, the caster can adopt specific physical qualities of an animal like the keen eyes of an eagle. More advanced uses are transforming into a hybrid, up to a fully bestial form. Nature Magic - Manipulation and generation of plant life. Biomancy - Manipulating biological energy and processes. Savagery - A combat style focused on unleashing your instincts to fight with a feral fury using your fists, claws, stingers, or whatever else you have available. Equipment: Shapeshifter's Hide (Upgraded) - A magically reinforced armor that shifts along with its wearer. Able to mimic clothes. Gnarled Rod (Upgraded) - A wooden stick carved with arcane runes that boosts the effectiveness of her magical spells on living things. Clawed Gauntlets - For when she can't, or is unwilling, to shift. Background: Except for being born at the stroke of midnight on Halloween, nothing marked Rebecca's future as anything out of the ordinary. Her life at the family's generation-old farm was idyllic, despite the early mornings and late evenings it had the impression of the rugged American Dream down to the homemade apple pies cooling on a windowsill. Animals were ever-present from the herds of barnyard animals grazing outside, down to sheepdogs and cats keeping them company inside their home at the day's end. They were a source of endless fascination, always something happening, but she always paid special attention when the veterinary came to visit. She styled herself as a nurse helper, listening, and following instructions to help heal the poor animals that had been hurt. After she finished high school, Rebecca moved away and to Los Angeles to continue her education, following the path she had decided on and prepared for years earlier. She struggled getting used to the city routine along with the burden of her studies, but always having been keen of mind she succeeded in getting her diploma and license along with everyone else. Her parents were still full of life, so there was no reason to hurry back and could instead focus on building her savings serving clients in the city. Planing on one day having enough to open up a private practice. On a fateful day a few years later, Rebecca prepared to close up the clinic, standing outside when she encountered a clearly abused tabby. It was bleeding, deliberately stabbed with something sharp but miraculously still alive. As she tried to get closer, the scared cat sunk its fangs into her hand before it was captured and taken inside the clinic. Not long after the bite wound bulged with leaking pus and the skin around it had turned an unnatural color. Unknown to Rebecca, the cat had been intended as a sacrifice in a botched ritual and swirled with demonic magic that had yet to found an outlet, and some of it had gotten into her bloodstream through the bite. Now eating away at her as it did the feline. The Bureau, already having broken up the cultists' ritual and now chasing the trail of magic, burst into the door as the ritual completed on its own. Face to face with a snarling demon, they didn't hesitate. The end result was a battlefield, but a victory, and in the aftermath, they gave Rebecca a choice that they had given many others. Personality: Knowledge of the supernatural came as a shock to her, but she was far angrier at the way that the cultists had treated an innocent animal and used that as the drive to push her through the grueling training. It also shaped the skills she developed, intent on being a feral avenger of all that is cute and cuddly. She's quite sweet and inquisitive outside of combat missions. Having grown up with a large extended family, keeping in frequent contact even when she moved to the city, she feels the lack of their presence keenly even if she understands the reasons for having to abandon them in order to protect them. Her team is her family now, and she tries to do her best for them. Doesn't mean she won't fight or disagree, that's part of being a family too. The Bureau healer came to her a little too late as she had absorbed much of the wild demonic energies that had entered through her wound. It had turned her eyes a shade of red and gave her a slightly sinister aura that manifested at times or when looking at her through the corner of your eyes. No other health effects, beyond a new preference for darker colors and less illuminated environments.
Yeah, it's happened to me once. Dunno if it's a bug, or if the image's site is just being a bitch about it.
Name: James Bartholomew Jeremiah Templeston Gender: male Sexual Orientation: Hetero Age: 19 Former Job: Private school student Specialisation: Sorcerer Skills: ** Evocation (Electricity) * Evocation (Force) [telekinesis and whatnot] * Abjuration (Wards and Shields) * Demonic corruption (makes him more resilient, stronger and faster, but will start to change his body if it becomes higher) Equipment: ** Magical enhancement runes (many magical runes mark his body to direct the flow of mana) * Ablative combat tunic (normal clothes might catch fire when casting lightning in them) * Enchanted semi-auto pistol (last line of defence when the magic runs out) * Warded necklace (to prevent possession) Background: Even in as modern a city as Los Angeles, there are old families. The Templestons were what counted as aristocracy in the USA, a lineage tracing to the first European settlers, family members in high offices since before the Revolution, businesses, privilege. Anybody who was born a Templeston had it made, and James was no exception. The youth led a life of luxury but it was also a rigid upbringing. A tight regimen of training and private schooling dominated his formative years, leaving a model entrant into American high society. Yet, the moment for him to brush shoulders with the other rich and more famous people of America would never come, his parents had other plans... Groomed to fit a template, it was not the template of the perfect son, but of the perfect vessel. Unbeknownst to him, his family was an ancient bloodline of witches and Devil-worshippers, his lineage infused with the Infernal taint of centuries of intermingling with the denizens from Hell. In the end, he did not know if his parents were possessed by demons, demons themselves or just lunatics praying to the Lord of Hell. On his eighteenth birthday, he wasn't surprised with his own personal supercar, but with a chloroform-soaked rag to his face. He awoke naked and strapped to a stone altar, candlelight the only flickering light in the dark room. Around him, dozens of cultists in crimson robes were chanting unholy verses. His parents, the cult leaders, were standing to either side of him and trying to summon something. The room darkened as a strange black mist started to emerge around him and the chanting grew to a fever pitch. The mist moved around his head, and he could hear an invading voice in his mind, telling him to let it in. He struggled but it tried to force its way inside him. It was unclear whether the demon had succeeded or not, when all Hell broke loose. Black-clad agents burst into the ritual chamber, shooting anyone who resisted them. Later, he was given the choice to join the Bureau of Protection. He accepted. Over-time, it became apparent that his brush with the demon had changed him. Either his lineage was awakened or some of the demon's essence had been sealed inside him. Attempts at exorcism failed and it remained unclear whether there was still a demon dormant inside him. He was warned that the stronger he got, the more his demonic taint might manifest itself. Whatever the reason for his powers, he had to master them under the Bureau's teachers. Many strange but fascinating powers revealed themselves to him as the year of training progressed. Personality: Growing up, James became arrogant and sure of being something better. Even if he means well, his words might be seen as condescending and abrasive. His more recent experiences somewhat humbled him and made him more contemplative, but also more weary of people in general, making him slow to trust. Spoiler: Pictures
