Before the trip over, she had told her no. Telling him briefly about her life at a farm, but didn't think that would count. In all respects, she had been a normal, average woman before her first meeting with the supernatural. Her chosen skills and specialization was to pay respect to that past. She knew animals, studied how they worked for years, making the magic easier associated with them easier to learn than other types. Rebecca focused on her nurses' outfit. The clothes melted into a black liquid, leaving her almost naked as it pooled in a few areas around her body. Then it started to spread again. She shivered as she felt it crawl all over her skin and gasped at the sudden tightness as it reformed into a new outfit. A strapless red dress that would make her easy to identify in a crowd. Rebecca reached for her own phone, exchanging her number with theirs. She flipped over to the images. Looking at the target they were supposed to find. Making a few adjustments to dress, shortening the hem, opening up the back, something she imagined a sleazy guy like him might like. "Place looks like shit." Eying the sign as she hoped that it wasn't indicative of the club's interior. "Any plans on how we want to approach this? Get him drunk, lure him outside, and let nature take care of the rest? Nothing says we have to interrogate him right here, right?"
"A-alright. I guess we'll need to take care of them one way or the other." Melissa said as she follows Erika to the now opened warehouse door. "I can provide some cover with my magic. Though I'll be using mostly my wind spells. As fire magic might just burn this whole place down."
She manages to get a clean shot, the creature standing in the centre of the the group. All she need do is pull the trigger, and its brains will splatter out the back of its head, something she's seen before with humans.
"It would be good to get him away from his home area so one of us could sort through the office but..." Alicia's face spoke to her confusion. "How are we supposed to get him to go with one of us?" After some silence waiting to realize it was a joke question, it became apparent she was seriously asking. That didn't stop her friendly smile from appearing again. "I should either do the talking or be with the one who does. It hurts my feelings when people lie to me, so they don't do it too often." That was an oversimplification of what her actual skill was, but she couldn't say much more and risk exposing some indication of how the special Templar secret actually worked.
@Daylan “I will cast a barrier spell on Erika, since she's a close-range fighter and will likely need the extra protection, them use bolts of holy energy to attack the imps from a distance.” Seres shared what she planned to do.
Nadya muttered a curse under her breath. Her companions were likely taking extra time to make sure she wss on position and she wished that she had a radio or some other way to communicate. However, she rested her finger on the trigger and started to mentally mark up which ones her next targets would be.
[ @Tjf Do they all have their own phones? If yes, why'd the driver give them one to call him?] James had to blink a moment, as Rebecca's outfit reformed itself into a red dress, 'Damn, now I'm jealous of your powers.' He reflected a moment, 'Well, unless Hipper is gay, either of you would have a better chance of getting his attention. I could ask around about Erin, but they might get suspicious... or not. We don't know how much the staff is aware of.' He looked to Rebecca, 'But yes, luring him somewhere else might help. He might have friends and bouncers looking out for him in here.'
"...I guess I'm applying for a job then." @Mazoku She was a little surprised that Rebecca could do that, but didn't seem bothered. "I've never seen people master life magic in such a way to do that. I didn't even think it was possible." Brushing it off as a reasonable enough power a demon hunter might have, she was left making mostly eye contact with Rebecca, but her dress made it really difficult not to notice. Alicia didn't seem to invested in actually taking lingering glances, since she just pretty much focused on the doctor's face. "Should we head inside then?" Taking the first few steps to the entrance, she looked a little too well dressed to properly blend in, but instead approached the bouncer near the door. "Yes, hi. I'm here about that job posting I saw, the other day? I was told to inquire within." She mentally reprimanded herself for lying and she'd need to make penance for it later, but for now, she waited for the bouncer's reaction.
"Noted." Vespa nodded and made the sign of the cross, not wanting to pry into the reasons why at the moment. They all had training at the camp. Despite how it sounded on its face, an ability to tell truth from fiction didn't sound too far fetched compared to werewolves and magicians. She offered James a smirk as she saw where his eyes went. "Hmm, it's not a power. The Shapeshifter's Hide keeps me from tearing up my clothes when altering my form, although it has some other perks." Indicating the dress with a sweep of her hand, twirling around. "Anyone could use though. Just takes some time to work out all the kinks." Her smug expression widened. "If he is then he's your problem. But if he isn't, I hope he isn't shy enough to say no when a lady brings him a beer." Moving closer, taking James by the arm. Telling him to play along as if they were on a date, at least until they were inside. Waiting a little while before following after the nun to meet the bouncer.
Going by way of size, the second and third largest of the imps are close by, so switching targets after her first shot will be easy.
Looking over at Melissa, Erika whispers, "You got any... I dunno, messaging magic? Something to tell the small fry to open fire?"
[You all have phones. Whether you traded numbers beforehand is up to you. I can retcon it in for you, if you want. The phone given to them by the bouncer is an untraceable burner, with only one number in it.} The bouncer, a stocky man in a tight fitting shirt, looks Alicia up and down, confused at her age and clothing, but clearly not adverse to the idea of allowing in a beautiful woman. He smiles to her. "Sure thing, girl. Head inside and go to the guy guarding the VIP lounge, and ask for Henry. He's the manager." As Alicia is granted entry, the bouncer turns to face Rebecca and James. Though he's clearly more enthusiastic about interacting with the former, both of them are attractive and wealthy looking enough to be let inside without a hassle. Inside, Alicia, Rebecca and James survey the club floor.
“Even if we don't tell her I am sure she will notice as soon as we enter. By now she's likely in position and waiting for us to move. Speaking of, let me know when you are ready so I can cast the barrier spell on you.” Seres whispered back. (Maybe they are so excited they forgot they have phones...)
She turned her head to take a passing glance at the two following in, but kept walking not trying to give any indication that she knew them, subtly making a gesture to try with some pointing, and direct them to remain where they'd have a view of the office and she'd be able to get a proper overlook of things. But she had to make her way to the VIP Lounge, and do what the guy at the door said. Swallowing somewhat nervously, as she opened her mouth. "Henry? I was told you're the person to be talking to about looking for work."
'After you, Ser Knight,' James said and let her talk with the bouncer. James chuckled and smiled, 'You certainly have an eye or feel for it. The dress looks like as if from one of the designer boutiques in the city.' He nodded, 'Ah, so that's how it works, hadn't even thought about the implications of transforming like that,' James nodded, 'Ending up half-naked in shredded clothes after every mission wouldn't be too helpful.' James let her take his arm, if anything they'd have to let him inside with her company, 'Sure, that should be a good cover. At least the evening's off to a pleasant start, before we end up in a bar brawl.'
Erika licked her lips eagerly. "Alright then. Then get ready to cast in five... four... three... two... ONE!" With that, she kicks open the unlocked door, going for maximum sound and impact as she begins to rush inside, bellowing at the top of her lungs, "IMP STOMPERS, MOTHERFUCKERS!"
The bouncer, another heavily muscled man, shakes his head and points upstairs. "He's upstairs, the fat guy. Waste his time and I'll bring you back down." He angles his body to let Alicia ascend the stairs. In the elevated VIP section, amongst a gaggle of wealthy and attractive people, she sees her target. He's a slightly overweight man with slicked back hair and a pastel suit. He sits at a booth, two bored looking women at his sides, as he snorts up some white powder from the table. Alicia gets a few looks from people around, both for her unusual attire, and her curvy body.
Seres managed to finish her barrier spell just as Erika kicked open the door. An oval dome of holy energy surrounded the eager fighter, the only indication of its presence a faint yellow hew. Then the ex-cosplayer rolled her eyes at Erika's antics and prepared to send holy bolts upon the imps, as soon as she had a suitable target.
@Mazoku They make it inside with no problems. They both see Alicia heading upstairs into the VIP section, as they approach the main dance floor. Some strange mix of goth metal and electronica is reverberating through the club, and the patrons seem to enjoy it, dancing energetically.
