@moonblack "I see. I'll do my best to support the team." Melissa said with a smile. "So the other team hasn't gotten her yet? I guess I do understand that its a little trickier than simply exterminating imps. I hope everyone's doing fine." Her tone turns into that of a concerned mother, "I'll head back to my room then. Please call me if they need help." The sexy milf continued to speak, and unless the director, or Seres needed anything from her, she heads straight into her room.
Alicia was stunned at how he could still be so insistent, but as she opened her mouth to respond, she could see the girl approach with the bat and reflexively went to shield her face. Her target was being taken which was..bad? They still wanted him alive. Kinda. Opening the passenger side, she stepped out getting her gun ready, but knew she wouldn’t reliably be able to hit the girl and not hurt her target, so instead, she aimed to fire a few rounds into the tires of her motorcycle making sure she’d lose her means of transportation.
The doctor's nose was buried in the screen to try and decipher the new message when she heard the sound of a window crashing. "Shit!" Unbuckling her belt, and reaching for the door she dashed outside. Her body started to shift as her red dress melted into an inky darkness. Her face elongated into a muzzle, the skin around her eyes turning dark as spotted blond and black fur grew around the elongated red slits and soon spread across her naked body. Her limbs became shorter, the bones cracking as she fell on all fours. She was growling, lips curling up to reveal a sharp row of fangs. Rebecca no longer resembled a human as a tail sneaked its way out from her behind and a pair of feline ear emerged from her head. The Shapeshifter's Hide spread across her body again, forming leather straps and plates to protect the exposed limbs of her leopard form. She stood up on her paws, her body low as she prowled forward and circled the blue-haired woman, ready to pounce and tear the man from her grip and save him.
@asddas193 “Mmm, delicious! I'm no expert, but this is the best whiskey I have tried! You should give it a try, too, even if it is just a sip!” Seres' last words were aimed at Melissa. She then turned her attention back to their boss. “Well, let us hope that all future missions will go as well as this one.” She made a brief pause. “If I may ask, madame director, do we get to learn your name now, or should we keep calling you 'boss', 'madame', madame director', and similar?”
Nadya was one of the last to leave the car. Her first order of business was to lob her remaining ammo into the British soldier's chest since she wasn't allowed to have it(at least her rifle ammo) inside the building unless she was at the firing range. Melissa and Serbs were talking about going to the debriefing, but she didn't really care to get headpats or to be told she was doing a good job. So instead she went to her room to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet.
"Uhm. Okay, I guess. One glass won't hurt." Melissa said as she accepts the offered drink. She takes a sip, her mind immediately recalling how her husband loved a good bottle of whisky. But as Seres asked for the director's name, she listened closely while taking another sip.
He manages to pull the blue haired girl away from the fat man, but in doing so, earns her ire. She sends the handle of the bat into his stomach, knocking the air from his lungs and making him double over. As he keels forwards, she raises her bat to deliver a coup de gras, but she recognises him just in time. "Wait... James? What the f-" Alicia is able to easily take out the bike's wheels with her firearm, but the blue haired girl notices. "You bitch! That's my bike!" She begins walking towards Alicia, bat raised. Attention focused first on James, and now on Alicia, the girl doesn't seem to notice Rebecca in her animal form. Hipper, paniced, makes a run for it, huffing and puffing as he sprints away.
She shrugs. "Oh, I suppose you can have my name. Priscilla Valentine. It's best if you keep calling me Director, however."
As she goes to enter the dormitory, Nadya sees a soldier, a man in what appears to be his early twenties, with a square jaw and rough beard. He makes a gesture to her with his head, indicating the area behind the dormitory, before going there himself, out of sight.
James recovered quickly from the blow and rushed after Chelsea but this time went for the bat, 'Stop, Chelsea, calm down a second. Why did you attack that guy?'
Rebecca's mind are a muddle of animalistic growls and actual thoughts, she reacts more by instinct than by making a conscious decision as she leaps after Hipper to run the man down. In her first stride, she already near her full speed, following it up with another explosive leap that further accelerates her limber form towards her prey. She just needs to disable him, keep him pinned until either Alicia or James can come.
"Understood, director." Melissa chuckled as she finishes her drink. "Phew." She sighed as places her now empty glass on the table, with her cheeks turning slightly red. "Aah. Well then. I'll take my leave now. But do call me if the other group needs help." She looks at the director, and Seres, "Take care now." She waved and left, heading back to her room.
She started to run, not nearly as fast as the animal doctor was, but more than fit for a human as she made her distance, trying to get halfway between having distance from Chelesa and ready to focus on Hipper. She highly doubted the blue hair girl was here for friendly conversation and Alicia wasn't willing to let her go. She also couldn't let that greasy pervert go, as much as she wanted to. Her decision was that Hipper himself was just an overweight drug addict. Rebecca would be fine. Chelesa however, seemed much more like a problem and she remained tense to keep her gun trained on her target. "If you don't mind, please keep her hands where I can see them." Not much of a threat it undersold the sister's actions, with Alicia's fingers already tensed and ready to pull the trigger.
She looks at him fiercely, but stops. "James, I don't know what the fuck you're doing here, or how you're still alive, but I need you to let go of the bat." The occult dealer lets out a scream of pure terror as Rebecca jumps him, pinning him down with ease. He stops moving, completely petrified, as if a single movement could be enough to provoke her into tearing out his throat. "N-n-nice doggy..."
She's excused, and returns to her room unchallenged. As she settles in, however, she hears a knock on the door.
Chelsea glares at Alicia. "Who the fuck are you, and why are you here with a dead man?" Her hands tighten around the bat's handle. "Are you some kind of necromancer? If you reanimated my friend, I swear to God I'll shove this up your ass, to the hilt."
'I got better,' James didn't let go, 'To beat up Henry? You're getting involved in something you shouldn't.' 'I think I got this one, Alicia,' James told her, 'You take care of Henry and Rebecca.' 'Necromancer? You know about all this occult stuff?' James asked, before he got an idea, 'Where is Erin Sinclair, Chelsea?'
“Priscilla. That's a nice name.” Seres smiled at the woman and gave a small bow. “It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Director Valentine. I look forward to working with you.” “See you later, Melissa.” Seres watched the MILF leave before finishing her own drink and placing down the now-empty glass. 'Thanks for the drink, it was really good.” She added as she looked at the director.
Her eyes narrowed. Doggy. She growled, flashing her fangs. "Ngghya. You. Are. Dog. Stay." Forcing out the rumbling, single word sentences through a feline muzzle not meant for human speech. Magic could accomplish many things, a shame that she hadn't had more time to prepare.
"Necromancy? No. We're here to find the lead to the actual necromancer who you tried just beating into a pulp. Thank you for that, by the way." It was surprising that Alicia's voice could actually sound mad, but given all she had to do to this point, this idiot ruining the whole operation wasn't something she was in love with. Seeing James had a handle on it, she moved over to where the doctor was to train her gun on the pervert, kind of half uncertain how she should be. "Umm. So I think this is obvious, but I probably can't come into work tomorrow." Alicia took a breath, her gentle smile returning at the most inappropriate time. "So, we'll just have to ask, if that's okay. Where is Erin now? Please be honest, because if you lie, Rebecca might get just a little cranky." The sister gave a giggle, sounding just way too calm and polite for the situation.
