“Is that so? I’d love to come along anyway.” Alicia wasn’t sure how close she should really be getting to these people, but she really was taken in by new ideas she didn’t have before. She couldn’t agree they were right just yet..but she hadn’t dismissed them either. “Never mind how I dress. I can handle demons. I can be pretty scary when I want to be.”
“Sure! Lead the way, beautiful!” As soon as she said that Seres mentally cringed. Of all the cliched lines...
“I love you too, sweetheart. I promise I’ll try to return as fast as I can.” Melissa gives him one last hug, and a kiss on his cheek before heading back to Agent Sully. “I’m ready to go now. Have you spoken to the broker about Tyler?”
He chuckles. "I grew up in a Catholic orphanage. Believe me, I know how scary nuns can be. I look forward to working with you, Alicia." Celina doesn't call her out on the line, instead leading her along. The woman didn't lie, the gardens are truly beautiful, the bright sun illuminating the vivid colours of the flowers. In a tranquil spot near a fountain, Seres sees Alicia kneeling next to a good looking young man in a leather jacket, who laughs at some joke the nun made.
Sully waits in his car. "I have. He's agreed to call off the bounty he placed, temporarily. He wants to speak to us in person, though, to make it permanent."
“W-what? Temporarily?” Melissa was shocked to hear how his son might still be in danger. “F-fine, let’s go meet him. They said I had the day off anyway.” She grumbled, unknowingly letting Sully know that no one will disturb them til tomorrow. Melissa gets in the car after using her magic to send Tyler another message. “I love you. I just wanted to say it again. Stay safe, I’ll try and call you when I can.”
'Thank you, all that training did pay off in the end,' James nodded and smiled, genuinely glad to have his ego stroked after so long, 'A secret mission? Alone? They sure put us rookies to work quickly. I don't have plans. I haven't really had any time to think about anything to do for leisure, but I might need to buy a few books and a PlayStation at some point.' James ate a bit of his pie and washed it down with tea.
Sully begins driving towards LA. "So, how did he react to seeing you? Having you drenched like that must have driven the poor kid wild."
“S-shut up! Tyler’s not like that!” Melissa denied, even though she stared at her son’s erection. And recalling that made the sexy milf blush even more. “A-anyway, what does the broker want?” She asked trying to change the subject.
"Imagine it's the supernatural version of saving a kitten from a tree. When you do buy that PlayStation, buy an extra controller. I'll beat your ass in Street Fighter, BlazBlue, anything." Rebecca boasted as she finished the cake. "Hmm, that was great. Not sure what I'll do yet with my free time. Maybe start a garden, to keep my nature and biomancy magics sharp. Guess I also could transform into a cat too and beg everyone for ear scritches and belly rubs... You know, since you're interested in games, I could try cosplaying as one of the characters."
Sully laughs. "Yeah, I bet he got hard just at the sight of you." He changes the subject when she asks. "Apparently he has some sort of job in mind."
“Oh, wow, this place is amazing...” Seres commented as she examined the gardens in amazement. The she saw a familiar face. That's Alicia, isn't? No idea who the guy is. “They seem busy talking about something – let's not disturb them.” The blonde told her companion as she pointed at Alicia and the unknown man. “Let's have a look at the rest of the gardens instead.” She suggested.
Celina nods, and leads her into the hedge maze. After a few turns however, the women get absorbed in small talk, and Seres eventually realises that both of them are lost.
She kept talking with Sato for a little bit before exiting the gardens, agreeing to join him on his next job, but leaving the sister to wander the grounds a bit more, unsure of what to do with her current downtime.
Melissa ignores Sully’s jab at her son, as she twists her wedding band. “A job? As long as it doesn’t take more than a day. Otherwise the director will scold the both of us.”
'You're on,' James grinned, 'Though don't think you'll win that easy.' He finished his tea, and looked slightly intrigued, 'I'm not sure if they'll let you reshape the grounds, but asking shouldn't hurt.' Mentioning becoming a cat, he looked at little saddened, 'Wouldn't that be the life? I used to have a cat back home. I wonder what happened to her after I "died", hope she's doing alright.' 'Cosplaying? Were you interested in that before all this?' James asked Rebecca, 'That might be fun, I'm know you make an excellent Catwoman.' He chuckled.
“Sooo... any idea where we are, or how to go back? I am a little lost...” Seres admitted. “If you too don't know the way I guess we can try always tuning right...” She added a moment later, as she remembered something she had read in a magazine once.
"Speaking as a veterinarian right now." She said with a bit more solemness than she had during the conversation. "Not sure if you had a will or not, but ownerless animals can be taken in by a shelter and be cared for until adopted if not given to a family member or friend. Not always. But I am sure she's with a happy family right now." She reached over patting his hand. Animals came and went for her, both at the farm and at her work, but they always touched your life. "Think I could better than Catwoman and be a cat woman. Or is that just an excuse to see me in leatherrrr~?" She made a slight alteration to her vocal chords, purring the final word by spinning the 'r' deep in throat. Rebecca couldn't keep up and burst out laughing. Quickly apologizing to those sitting nearby for the outburst.
There's some sort of scuffle going on not too far away, she hears the sounds of fighting. She also sees the British soldier from before, who nods to her respectfully.
