“Alice, too? Well, then looks like we’re all back together again soon.” She was in a good mood for many reasons, though having her daughter her would put quite a bit more danger on things, it would also be nice to be able to see her again and regularly. “You know...I always had a suspicion Alice really liked you. I kind of hoped if you two were ever to marry then it would be wit-...never mind.” She didn’t want to push too hard on it. “Have they assigned you, your first mission yet?”
Well as much as its a really bad idea considering her lack of a licence. There's no way she wouldn't go for the motorcycle.
James dragged the man to the van, they'd need to wipe his memory, lest he put James' face on an APB. The blonde boy looked relieved but also slightly concerned at the dishevelled state that Rebecca was in, as he walked towards them, 'Are you alright? That was quite the distractions you caused. I managed to find the girls.' James didn't look too good himself. His eyes were surrounded with strange bluish veins from using too much magic and so was his arm. He was bleeding from his earlobe, where a shotgun pellet had torn off most of the cartilage where an earring might have been. Seemingly, he was so pumped with adrenaline that he didn't notice his wounds, 'Yara, can you drive the van so we can get out of here before the cops show up?'
"Fine enough." She said waving away his concern, keeping her wince as she smiled to a minimum. "A few bullets, a couple of stab wounds." Nothing compared to what the cat women had gone through she was certain. Time, and magic, would heal any wound. "And yes, the distraction was quite something. Glad you noticed." Managing to sound teasing, feeling a bit more herself again now that everything was over with. She shuffled over to his side, gently caressing his cheek before reaching up to his ear. He'd feel the heat as concentrated magic poured into the area of the ear she touched, reknitting the flesh but leaving a scar that would fade eventually, at least partially without any additional magical attention. She close enough with her face to his that James could feel her breath on his skin. A look of concern crossed the veterinarian's features. "Never seen the blue-glowing veins before." Moving to inspect his arm, tracing on of her fingers along the blue veins with a featherlight touch. "Are they hurting?" "Let's get inside, so we aren't here for any longer than we have to be."
James' eyes looked at Rebecca's red ones, as she drew in close and caressed his cheek, the young man taking in a breath and his heartbeat would've gone up if he wasn't still on edge from the fight. The rescue mission gave him an air of testosterone around him, pumped up from the struggle for life and death. He touched the ear after it was healed, and Rebecca traced her finger on his arm. He shook his head, 'I didn't even notice them until now. They don't hurt, but it's more of a feeling like muscle under tension. I think it happens when I use too much magic.' He smiled faintly, looking slightly exhausted from the exertions, 'Thanks. For the ear.' @Tjf Catching himself being a bit too lost in Rebecca's eyes while they should be getting a move on, James blushed, 'R-right, let's go.' He stepped back and helped the girls into the back of the van.
The reason Erika found herself awakening at such an odd hour was because her stomach had started rumbling. Food would probably be a good idea at this point. Carefully untangling herself from the body pile and throwing on her underwear, a t-shirt and sweatpants, Erika slipped out of the room to let the siblings slumber and see if this place had a kitchen to snag a post-coital sandwich from.
Touching his cock, she finds that he's packing a substantial length, not quite as fat as Sully's, but longer, her body telling her that it'll soon be deep inside her. Picking her up in a bridal carry, Lawrence takes Melissa into the bedroom, throwing her down on the bed as he strips out of his clothes, revealing a lean but toned body. The younger man mounts her, his cock rubbing teasingly against her lower lips as he gropes, bites and suckles on her breasts, his face a mask of pure passion. "I wanted you so badly..."
"Sure thing." Celine smiles, and continues to make conversation as they eat, though Seres gets the distinct feeling that the green haired girl wouldn't mind this date ending in bed, and soon. As they finish their meals and chat over the wine, Seres hears the deep, grating voice she feared. "Lisa, is that you?"
Zach frowns. "C'mon, she's like a sister to me. Besides... Never mind." He changes subjects with her. "No, not yet. I hope they do soon, though. I'm ready to get into the field."
Surprisingly, Nadya manages to avoid crashing her motorcycle, even getting a feel for how to ride it properly. Unfortunately, a police car spots her 'learning' and she hears sirens behind her.
Just as Seres finished her meal and checked to see if Celine was done as well came a question she really did not want to hear. Dammit! She cursed mentally, but outwardly did not react, pretending that she had not understood the question had been aimed at her. Instead she focused on her date. “Would you like to order anything more, dear, or shall we go already?” She asked, hoping that Celine would get the message.
With a burly unconscious biker and 6 catgirls, the van is a tight squeeze, but they manage to make it out before the police arrive. Heading back to Yara's small place, the catgirl takes her kindred into another room, thinking that it's best to let them relax amongst themselves. After getting them situated, Yara runs back inside, frantically hugging Rebecca and James to her, awkwardly pressing the two hunters together with her not unsubstantial strength. "Thank you, thank you, thank you! You guys are great!"
Besides what? She was curious. Was Alice not good enough? Her instincts as a parent were somewhat irked her, but she didn't say much more on it for now. Seeing his eagerness to get out there, she looked a little bit worried. "This isn't quite the same as back home. You rely on more...subtle tactics here. Which is why I ended up.." She couldn't say it out loud, just looking over her catsuit that still barely hid any part of her body. "They really want people stepping out of their comfort zone. I think it would be good if they put you in a group for your first mission. It's important to have a proper understanding that our normal methods just don't work here. I'll ask the director to pair you up with a few people. Naturally, I'll be going as well. But it would be nice if you could properly get to know the people you're working with as well."
She finds a cafeteria in the main mansion. Her choices are somewhat limited, being stuck between lunch and dinner, but she manages to snag a pretty good turkey sandwich. As Erika eats, one of the soldiers approaches, a bearded young man. "Nice fight, earlier."
Celine nods. "I'm totally full, honey. Let's go." She stands, grabbing her purse. The ruse fails, however, as Seres feels a meaty paw on her shoulder. "Lisa, that is you! It's Doug, don't you remember? I organised some of those convention jobs for you."
He scoffs. Even though he's a man grown, and is mature in many areas, Zach's never been able to shake off his childish arrogance, a fact that drove the Order's clergy wild with irritation. "C'mon, I don't need babysitters. I was raised for this."
“What?” Seres blinked in confusion as she looked at the man. “I'm sorry, but you seem to be confusing me for someone else. My name is not Lisa.” She informed the man as she politely but firmly removed his hand from her shoulder.
Of course, he wasn't going to listen too well. She wondered how to get this across the best she could. "I was just nearly gutted on my last mission by a rage demon. Even I need help sometimes. Can you look me in the eye and say with absolute confidence, that you'll be fine on your own?"
He lets go, but doesn't give up. "C'mon, Lisa, whaddaya mean? You still working, there are a couple of cosplay events coming up, could bring in good money."
