“Thanks, you too.” Seres replied as she looked around, still alert and searching for any other potential threats. “So, was that it, or do we need to continue searching?” She asked, wanting to make sure.
They look, but nothing else appears. Celine leans against the tree. "No, that...should be it." She wipes sweat from her brow and chuckles. "Thanks for your help. I'll be sure to repay you."
“Any time.” Seres smiled at the green-haired woman. “So, is there anything else we need to do here, or should we head back and report the mission's success?”
Nadya unpacked her rifle and laid flat on her belly on the roof in order to reduce her silhouette of any onlooker from the ground. She then lined her rifle up and peered through the scope to get a better look at what was going on.
Through the scope, she sees the driver side door of the limo open, and a burly man in a suit gets out, walking to the back to open the door for another man, an elegant looking guy in an expensive suit. Before she can get a good look at the guy in the luxury suit, three more men exit the vehicles, all bulky, blocking the view. They all draw pistols, though they hold them at rest, at their sides.
"Yeah. I'm fine." Alicia let out a groan, as she collected her breath. "We know where these people are camping out. Time to get the big guns. We aren't going to save anyone by rushing in and getting ourselves killed and we can't say how many are left." Making her explanation, Alicia was grateful she at least parked relatively close by so she could move back to the car and collect the big guns.
"Alright. I just hope none of the civilians get hurt." Melissa replied as she moves toward the door. "Ready when you are." She said as she begins channeling her wind magic, ready to make a strong gust of wind to pin everyone in the room down.
'So do I,' James nodded and got into position at the other side of thd door. He concentrated on his force spells, keeping the lightning for later. @Tjf @Daylan 'We're ready to strike any second,' James sent to Erika and Zach.
Nadya continued to train her rifle on the location of the elegant man in the pile of bodies. Her movement drifting at the same speed that she presumed he was moving in order to be ready for when a shot presented itself. She was tempted to try and take a shot and hope the explosive rounds dispersed the men enough to get a second shot in, but she didn't know whether she would actually be able to get a second shot in fast enough before they shuffled the man to safety. Especially with his Vampire Powers.
Foolish humans, she thought with derision. In the heat of the moment with adrenaline and blood pumping through her veins, Rebecca no long counted herself as one of them. The beast chuckled darkly even as its influenced waned, watching patentiently with glowing eyes in the deep and dark recesses of the veternearian's soul. Rebecca sprinted on the ground, and like a shadow overtook the surfers before disappearing into the thicket, following the zombies carrying the woman. She trusted Alicia to handle herself. Her holy spears had torn through the zombies more viciously than her claws ever could.
"No, we can head back." As the two of them walk back to the car, the creature begins to dissolve, until nothing's left but a puddle of grey goo. Back at the car, Celine begins the long drive home. "So, I'd like to see you again sometime, if that's alright. Maybe go out somewhere?"
It takes a while, but they make it to the car and back. By the time they return with their weapons, Rebecca and the zombies are long gone. It isn't long before Rebecca catches up, the smell of rotten flesh and the sound of the woman's screams leading her on. She barrels past the two men, who have to jump out of the way to avoid getting knocked down, and then she sees the zombies, roughly carrying a young woman with red hair.
@Daylan Zach cracks his knuckles, looking up at Erika. "Okay, the guards on the door are humans, so let's go non-lethal, at least at first. You ready?" He begins walking to the garage, preparing for a fight. The guards, burly biker types, look at the approaching young man with derision. Melissa and James hear a voice from the other side of the door. "Hey, Doug, I left my smokes in the office, go get 'em, would ya?" There's a sigh, and then footsteps approach the door, as someone moves to head into the back.
The bodyguards surround the man, as they walk towards the freighter moored in the dock. She thinks that she can shoot through a gap between the bodyguards, but she's not confident that the opening will still be there for a second shot, when they react.
James cursed under his breath. He quickly checked the hinges of the door and pressed himself to the side he'd be least likely to get spotted by 'Doug'.
Melissa hides next to James, this time she's the one pressing herself against him. Maybe it was due to the urgency, or maybe the sexy milf's nature had changed completely. But the young man's boner was once again pressing against her flat stomach.
Rebecca moved on all fours for the last few strides before leaping into the air. The werecat's entire mass pressed into the zombie's bodies, while her claws tried to find purchase around their rotting heads as she hoped to bring them to the ground and keeping them pinned until either her allies or the red-headed woman had time to escape.
The door opens, covering up Melissa and James as they hide. A young man, about the same age as James, walks into the back, walking up and going into one of the offices. Light pours into the back hallway through the open door, and Melissa and James are unsure of whether they'll be visible when Doug goes back to the garage.
James' erection had subsided as they were looking around, but Melissa's body pressed against him woke it up again, the bulge in his pants growing. The young man stifled a groan, but he didn't dare say anything, lest the guy coming to the door heard them. However, he gave her a look that tried to say, 'What are you doing?'
As Rebecca lands, the woman and her undead captors go sprawling to the ground. The redhead begins running away, but trips before she gets totally out of sight. Though pinned, the zombies beneath Rebecca's paws aren't disabled, and wriggle around as they try to get free.
