Alicia had rested at least a little bit. She was more wore down and had already expended more ammo than she would have liked. She might be able to survive long enough for the rest of the hunters to get in. She remembered before that the first time they were there he had to fly away. Likely, he didn't have any form of teleportation to speak of. If they got to them, he'd have to physically escape than any last minute magic tricks in that regard. That didn't mean he wasn't dangerous. Two hunters, experienced as they were, but already exhausted from all the fighting weren't much of a challenge. She called the guy that dropped them off at the airport so he could gather up whatever outfit they had in the area and he'd likely alert the director. There wouldn't be enough time to fly in more reinforcements, but they might still try. Truth was, she fully expected to lose a lot of people, most likely, herself included. But if they could find a way to stall until backup arrived that might even the odds. "I feel guilty for promising we'd come home safe, but the good we'll do has to outweigh it. Alright..let's go." Having taking a bit of time to collect some of her energy she accompanied Rebbeca, loading up the last few clips she had.
"Fufu. I guess we do." Melissa chuckled to herself, before eagerly listening to Seres' debrief on their target. "I see. So he's a sort of producer then?" She pondered, "Well, how about we pose as a freelance model then? Well, I guess Imalia would need to it since. Since me being a model at my age is a little..."
“I think you underestimate your looks, Melissa,” Seres noted as she looked the MILF up and down. “In any case it;s not a bad idea, but... I think Imalia's idea to use me as bait might be better. It would be too much of a coincidence if I go to him looking for a job right after I pretended not to know him. Besides, we don't even know what his current job is. He might not be looking for models at all. On the other hand, if I were to stumble into him by accident and accuse him of following me around, it might convince him that it is just a coincidence. What do the two of you think?” She looked at her two companions. @Tjf
"Fufu. Now, now, flattery will get you no where." Melissa giggled at Seres' reply. "That sounds like a good plan. And if he's a bigshot, shouldn't he have some sort of website we can look at?" She then gave a reply of her own, "Then, maybe we could all pretend to be interested in a photoshoot."
The now naked Erika eagerly rubs back, her womanhood having been quite slick since they started making out. This makes grinding her hips easy as her sensitive pussy lips "kiss" those of her bed mate. For a little while she can only moan in pleasure but eventually she gets a gleam in her eye and she pants, "Wanna... bet? Whoever... cums first... has to let the other... fuck 'em... with a strap-on."
\ Heading out, he finds the blue haired mercenary outside a dive bar, sitting on a new motorcycle, with black marks of ash on her face. She absent mindedly smokes a cigarette, before looking up as James arrives. "Hey, thanks for coming."
Imalia looks at Melissa with a grin. "Is is flattery if it's true?" She then shrugs. "I'm not entirely sure, but I prefer the photoshoot idea. If you start accusing him of stuff, it could put him on guard. Still," she looks to Seres, "he's your problem, so I'll follow your judgement."
@moonblack Melissa's smile turns into a lusty grin as even Imalia compliments her, however, as soon as they discuss plans, she clears her throat. "Yes, if you suddenly approach him, after pretending to not know him. He might find it odd, and refuse to see you." She added, "But, it is also true that he is your problem. So, however you wish to deal with it, I'll help to the best of my abilities." Melissa added with a smile, thankful that the vibrator inside of her hasn't started up yet. She then takes out her phone, doing a quick google search to see if their target had any websites, or social media of his own.
@Auraicide @Mazoku After fighting off the attacking zombies, the two hunters are able to make their way across the trainyard without incident, heading into the second building. Unlike the first, this one has been partially demolished, all the walls knocked down to create one large chamber, illuminated by pale blue light. In the center stands their target, a skeletal creature, petrified flesh clinging loosely to the bone, a tattered robe over its form. Empty eyes look at the two of them. "Welcome. So, a nun and a beast, this is what your masters think sufficient to kill me? He gives a sickly laugh. "You two shall make a fine addition to my army."
@moonblack They're able to find Doug's facebook, and through it the companies his agency represents. He's responsible for booking talent for magazines, websites and numerous events, mainly gaming and nerd culture conventions. One such convention, his social media has reposted, is taking place in a few weeks.
"Oh, my. Just a skeleton. How am I going to listen to your dying breaths now?" Alicia looked visibly bothered despite her attempt to force a smile. That wasn't the demon. Or at least not the one they were after. She didn't think he changed form. She already knew of the problems of this fight. Without destroying the soul jar all they could do is hope to annoy him without a powerful enough holy spell to forcibly separate the spirit right out of his body. Maybe he wasn't the one she was concerned with meeting here, but that didn't mean he wasn't dangerous. It would be bad enough to get into an encounter with him normally, let alone with just the two of them, already worn down and exhausted. Not to mention a lich was going to make an army by killing and raising the dead. She couldn't believe she was going to say it, but at least a demon would just tried poisoning their minds without murdering them and bringing back their bodies as animated corpses...and she was especially worried that the lich wouldn't necessarily avoid trying to rape them knowing that either. "With just us...you'd be right..." Though...she did have one last resort. An impossibly narrow one. There was no way of knowing if it would actually work. If the ritual completed and didn't kill her, and it might, it would be enough to turn the tides against demons entirely. Demonic corruption threatened to seep into every soul, using it's vessels as living weapons. But they weren't the only things that could use vessels. Not that it wasn't any less dangerous. Only a true pure soul would even think to attempt it, and since that would require the humility of never thinking you're worthy of god's grace, the contradiction made it a constant paradox that there was no such thing as a truly safe vessel for them to inhabit. While the light may be warm, it burned with justice all the same and no mortal was immune. "But..." She put her hands together and shut her eyes focusing on a meditative prayer to concentrate. If she was lucky, after she was done she might just be meet with things like blindness, and nervous system failure of one of her arms. She could only hope for the light symptoms of pulling this much power into her body. But she was put back into a corner and had to do it. Her visions began to flood as she recited the ancient prayer invoking her host, a faint magic circle of white light glowing underneath. Her vision flashed with a flicker of it. At first a mass of golden wings shielding a endlessly burning flame. The moment made all her vision go white in a completely blinding flash, that deadened all her other sense before deadening to a sudden coldness. That brief imagery of the true form of the Seraph she had only seen drawn in text, but never visualized in actuality. A sight so alien and incomprehensible, it would even be argued the forms of the angels were more disturbing than demons. When it finally cooled to see a proper grasp of the spirit on earth only for a brief moment before it faded into her body, it could hardly be seen as a much more welcoming sight. "Be not afraid." Despite the reassurance, the vision of the angelic host made her shudder with a coldness despite the warm embrace of the light she felt entering her body. Her entire body began to convulse and jump, eyes rolling backward as she allowed it to use her as a vessel, and she was engulfed in the intensity of holy flame before it died down and the pain stopped, leaving the product of the fusion of the sacrificial vessel and the angelic force infusing itself into her body. The result, having a glow of light reshape and recenter behind her back in a span of wings, with the same bright light color that reflected in her clothes and the aura she gave off. Despite the lack of...proper attire. Likely due to the light force trying to reshape Alicia's skimpy swimsuit, the outfit didn't look the most intimidating, but the presence of power cut through the very air. This was not the kind of light that could be hidden from. "You, on the other hand, have a lot to fear." ..... @Mazoku "But like...woah. That was seriously trippy." The angelic fusion turned a glance to Rebbecca, it's eyes having a somewhat absent minded look to her. "That skeleton guy looks like trouble. He's the dude, I gotta beat up, right?" I don't really get this...but that guy can't be up to anything good." The light being coughed for a moment, her face stiffening a bit, the druid's best guess that Alicia's more mature personality was at war with the angels, with the now more mature and serious look in it's eye readying itself for a fight. "I am Ariel. Avatar of Empyrean, and angel of love. I'll be the shield to make me worthy of such a title in your eyes."
@Mazoku The lich, though it's monstrous face is incapable of making many expressions, reels back as though in disgust...or fear. Rebecca notes that its attention is focused solely on the newly arrived angel. "You filthy creature!" Its voice booms in rage. "I'll send you down to hell!" Undead begin to enter the building through the side doors, and the lich sends a ball of cold green energy, hurtling towards Alicia.
"I was just about to say the same thing. " Ariel's sounds of laughter and smile was definitely similar to the nuns. At least some of her old personality seemed to remain the same as the angel put her arms out readying the energy of a spell. "Are you going to run? And after all the trouble to get me here. That's so naughty~ At the very least, let me cut off your legs so you can crawl out." The laughter that followed...she definitely takes after Alicia. The sudden flash of energy, made her react with the instinct to counter with her own. Lifting her hands forth to summon a hold bolt, the influx of energy was almost a whirling mess of energy, thundering across the room in a loud crack, cement on the floor splintering and peeling from getting caught in her own counter attack against the lich's energy ball. The white haired woman's eyes widened, as she took a quick look at her fingers, clearly perplexed by the extent of her own power as the two forces of energy meshed together cancelling each other out. While she could probably beat the lich in one on one at this state, a zombie horde that was distracting her from properly countering wouldn't really help. Not wanting to spend too much time on the horde, she offered a quick blessing in mass. Not enough energy to really damage them, but the holy blessing enveloping the zombies contradicting the necromantic energy, her aim to slow the horde's movements and make them much easier to manage. Her own new levels of ingovirgated energy were impressive, but she didn't want to risk expending all of it just yet. Fortunately, she understand the bane of undead creatures. Healing magic might be useful against the living but to the undead... Her wings began to beat as she charged the spell, to generate a healing mist across the area. It would be useful for damaging the horde over time, chipping away at their bodies and weakening them, but also ensure Rebecca would be able to recover while ripping into them.
'Hey, Chelsea, don't mention it,' James shrugged as he approached his former classmate. He pointed at the ash marks, 'What's with those?'
“Hmmm... well, let's try the photoshoot idea. If it does not work we can try something a bit more violent – but I hope it won't come to that.” Seres decided after a bit of consideration. “We just need an excuse for the three of us being together... Let's say, each of us made a bet with Imalia and lost, and so she roped us into joining her for the photoshoot. Does that sound good to you?” She looked at the other two women and waited to hear their opinions.
"Yeah, that idea sounds fine. But, won't he be surprised once he sees you?" Melissa pondered, "We can also just go for individual interviews, maybe he'll call the three of us in the same day?"
“I think it's too risky to go alone. As for him being surprised – well, I will be surprised too to meet the guy that was bothering me during my date.” Seres shrugged.
"I see. That does give you an excuse to, not know him. And yeah, if we go alone, it might be risky. We can try going with your idea then." Melissa continued to ponder their plan.
"I had a brush with the demon, not long ago." She sighs, wiping some of the ash away with a handkerchief. "Burnt a building down on top of me. To be fair, it was stupid of me to pursue it into a place made entirely of wood."
Both Alicia/Ariel and the lich are knocked back slightly as the two forces of magic impact one another, a flash of white and green light bursting through the dark station house. The zombies, ten in all, reel as Ariel's second spell is activated, their flesh beginning to sizzle and char as the healing spell, made of the holy magic which is the bane of their existence, does its work. The lich's hands darken, swelling with an unholy aura that Ariel instinctively wants to avoid, and charges towards her, as out of the shadows of the ceiling, a tendril of darkness dashes forwards to ensnare her limbs and make her unable to defend herself. @Mazoku The zombies, though in pain from Alicia's spell, advance nonetheless, bodies slowly melting. They stand five on either side of the beast woman, and press forwards in a reckless frontal assault, not intelligent enough to do anything more sophisticated.
