He soon finds a stairway headed down into the darkness, Chelsea backing him up with her bat and a flashlight. Heading down past several hospital floors, they find themselves in the basement, the flashlight beam illuminating cracked linoleum tiles. As they walk down a long corridor, ending with an t intersection dividing the paths between the morgue and the maintainance areas, they begin to see occasional lights beyond the broken doorways lining the hall, flaming red and orange. Looking into one, James sees that it's a barrel fire, set up beneath an air vent which takes in the majority of the smoke. Around the fire are silhouetted the shapes of several lying figures, chests steadily moving upwards and downwards as they sleep. James hears a noise behind him, and Chelsea turns, pointing her flashlight back into the hallway. A man, middle aged and dark skinned, shields his eyes, as he yawns groggily. "What are you doing here, disturbing people's sleep?" He notes the baseball bat in Chelsea's hand. "You looking to beat on some homeless folk? There are a lot of us down here, and if one shouts out, the rest'll come running." Chelsea shakes her head. "No, we're not here to hurt you. We're looking for someone." The homeless man looks at the two of them. "Who?"
After buzzing at the front door, and introducing themselves, the trio are let up. On one of the higher floors, the hunters are welcomed into a modernist photography studio, but surprisingly, they're not welcomed by Doug, but by a glamorous looking woman with a curvy body hidden behind expensive looking clothes. "Ah, you're the 7:30 appointment?" "I'm afraid Doug won't be able to make it. He's upstairs, recuperating from an illness."
Tina moans on, her hands wrapping tightly around Erika as if to make a reversal, but the anticipated move never comes, and instead she cries out, tongue lolling as she's wracked by an orgasm.
Thanking the fact that her little toy didn't activate on their way up, especially when they were inside the elevator. Melissa was able to let out a relieved sigh, though she still felt on edge. Since the toy had skillfully denied her an orgasm. As they arrive at the studio, Melissa raised an eyebrow as a woman welcomed them. "Yes we are indeed, thank you for having us." She said with a smile. But as the glamorous woman explained Doug's abscense, "I see, I would have liked to thank him personally as well." She said in a disappointed tone.
"An illness? What happeneed? He seemed in perfect health when we spoke to him earlier..." Seres frowned. Perhaps she was being too paranoid, but something here felt off. She made sure not to show her suspicions, though.
The undead corpse burns in heavenly light, collapsing and going limp as it's consumed, dropping the lich's head, which rolls across the ground, and the beast woman tears through the zombies with ease. Rebecca sidles up next to Alicia. "I'm all ears. This is, um, more your thing, Alicia. Alicia is still in there, right?"
"I'll be sure to mention your gratitude." The woman smiles. Seres catches the woman looking at her, just a tad too intensely, even for an audition, before she walks further into the room and gestures for the women to take a seat on a plush leather couch. "Oh, it's, he's come down with a fever of some kind. The doctor advised that he rest. I'm Jacqueline, his partner, and I'll be handling auditions while Doug's incapacitated." Seres hasn't worked with Doug in ages, but this is the first she's heard of him having any kind of partner. He had a few freelance photographers working for him the last time she was here, but no one permanent.
"I'm glad to hear it." Melissa said with a bright smile. Though, Seres' inquiry about Doug's sickness had her curious. Sadly, since she didn't really know the person in question. The sexy milf thought nothing more about it. Since her mind fought off the urge to get herself off. She sits on the leather couch, "Alrighty then, how are we supposed to do this?" She asked in an excited tone.
The angelic force smiled for a moment, before she frowned for a second, putting her hand against her cheek for a second, looking puzzled. "I think so. I remember her life, and also nothing. The one was born a mortal....the other came from nowhere. A spark of flame from the Seraph brought forth into a weapon, having no life prior, but now designated as a weapon to carry out the will of the good. I am Alicia. At least, to a degree. How much is a troublesome question." "Anyway, we got to do our search." Clearing her mind she began to focus with in, searching for traces of strong magical energy around the area.
@moonblack Jacqueline grins at Melissa. "Glad to see that you're eager. Well, we'll have you put on some costumes for an anime convention that's happening soon. I'll take photos, do some quick interviews with you, and send your information off to the convention people, if you're interested. How much you're paid depends on how long they're willing to book you, and in what outfits, but it should be good money, even for first timers." She smiles. "I'm sure that they'll jump at the chance to employ you. It's not that often we get a group quite so well endowed."
She finds that the room is filled with small traces of energy, hanging limp in the air. Rebecca nods, but seems far from clear on the situation. "I guess, what I'm asking is: will Alicia come back?"
Something smells fishy here... Seres mentally frowned as she noticed the way the woman was looking at her. She decided to try and confirm her suspicions. "I see... How unfortunate, I hope it's nothing serious... by the way, where's Celine? Doug said she'd be helping us with this job. Did she also fall sick?" She asked as she looked at Imalia, seemingly waiting to see where the woman in question would sit down. "That sounds great, Jacqueline." Seres smiled at the woman.
"I see, that seems like a pretty straight forward process." Melissa nods, her own excitement growing, mostly due to her current edged state. "Ah, but, will we be doing things as a group, or one by one?" She asked with a smile, thinking, If we do the photoshoot one by one, the other two can check on Doug. The sexy milf grins at her plan.
He looks suspicious. "Unusual? I try my best not to poke my nose in other people's business. There's something, though, happened last light. The furnace lit up again. Some guys went to investigate, pretty tough men, but they haven't checked back in since. They might've just gone to a different floor, but I dunno... I have a bad feeling."
Imalia sits on the couch, as Jacqueline returns the smiles. "Celine? Oh, you must be talking about one of Doug's freelancers. I didn't think they'd be necessary, I can handle this alone." The dark skinned woman takes a seat on an opposite couch. "Well, we'll take individual shots of you all, and then a few group shots at the end, I think." Melissa's buzzer goes off, the sound muffled by her thighs, but the pleasure definitely felt. It buzzes powerfully for just a fraction of a second.
Not much to really get a proper feel on, she still advances towards the slight source as she thinks about it, kind of having to wonder about that myself. "Well...like...kind of? But hey, if it makes you feel better, I can just.." She shifted with a flash to Alicia's former typical clothes. While the appearance looked the same, the vibe and atmosphere coming off it was enough to clue Rebecca in that this was just Ariel taking a similar form rather than them separating. "Does that help you? I don't really have a frame of reference to know how long I should or shouldn't exist. Her body is holding up rather well, at least."
"Down in the maintenance section. It has a big sign on the door." The man looks around. "Like I said, I don't poke my nose in people's business, and I won't poke my nose into yours, just... Whatever trouble you get into, keep it away from us, okay?"
