Taylor pushed the memory stick it one of the TV ports and started the video. It showed the very room she found Nathan Byrne dead. Taylor started fast-forwarding, searching for the scene she was interested in. "So, dear sister, of mine," June started as she sat next to her. "How do we plan to act?"
“That depends. Feels like even with people shooting at you, you feel like you should be playing games. I need to go find this girl and take her for questioning. There’s reasonable enough evidence to detain her for a bit and I know that she has to know something.”
"The blue-haired punk?" June hummed, thinking about the woman whom Jack made a picture of, during the attack. "I would try either hospital or morgue." She said offhandedly looking at the TV.
"That's a start." Making a note of it, she'd have a few locations to investigate, and she continued watching the footage waiting for something to change or become out of place in it.
Jack thinks, before replying. All right, focus on the girl with the jacket, instead, then. I'll get to work on this Sophia woman. Jack does a net search, both in public and back channels, looking for information about Sophia, anything from business dealings she's had, to her address, to her previous relationships. Afterwards, he returns to the living room, to June and his mother. @Auraicide "So, mom, do we know where to go?"
"Well, I'll follow your lead and help in whatever way I can." Jack gives a determined nod. "Should I go to the home, or the hospital?" He thinks. "Oh, and that tech work you needed doing before, still want me to get onto that?"
Taylor had to stop and think about that. "Would help if you did some of that tech work. There's an upper limit to how much I can do even with computer access since I'm not really a programmer even with super speed to the internet. I'm not sure which one to start. I'd rather you didn't just go to the place of a possible killer on your own, so I'll take care of that. The hospital is relatively safe and would save time if someone did some legwork....yeah." A little reluctantly she nodded. "Alright. Guess I'll check out the place then."
"Sure, I'll go to the hospital." He opens up his rig. "What did you want me to do about your corrupt colleagues again?"
(I really don't remember what I had in mind here.) Taylor tried to think on that. "There's bound to be reports to internal affairs or case files being complied with names and who they're suspected to be tied too. Now....this might sound like a little much." She really wondered what mess she was getting her own kid involved in. "But...it's not like I want the database broken into and messed with. I just want to be able to view some hidden case files. I'll find some other way to do it...but..it's not like I want them to steal money or peddle drugs. I'm trying to clean this assholes out of the department and to do that I need to know who they are."
"Sure thing, mom." He takes hold of her hand and squeezes. "I know you're worried, but I can handle myself."
She was a little surprise that he'd agree to it, but she took his hand. While she could be a little tough on the job, it dissolved pretty quick around her own family...well...her sister was a unique case, but she responded with a warm and motherly smile. "It's asking a lot, but anything happens...I'll take care of it."
As both of them had their moment, June walked to their side and put a hand on each of their arms. "Oh, such a sweet moment... but I find your interaction little too muted." She then moved forward, her hands warping around their backs. "Hug time!" She declared cheerfully. The leaned into their embrace, touching with her head, theirs. Then she continued gently- "Easy there, if you need help, just call, and I will come flying with few friends of mine." She finished somewhat savagely.
Feeling the sudden pull made her jump a bit as Jack could feel the two women's body's pressing dangerously close from both sides. While Taylor appreciated the moment she still had to give June a look. "We're definitely going to have a talk about that." The moment lasted, with just faint traces of her toned body, but soft curves ever so slightly rubbing up without really thinking much of it. She eyed Jack a little, watching his reaction to being caught between the two. "Hey, there's worse things to happen to a guy than being between two gorgeous babes." Taylor laughed at what she saw as namely a joke.
Jack squirms uncomfortably between the two well endowed women. He turns away quickly, trying to avoid letting the women see his red face, though this has the unintended consequence of his face rubbing across Taylor's breasts. "I should head to the hospital."
June smirked as she let go of the duo. "You wish, but we won't~" She singsonged. "Haven't you heard? Officiousness is worse than fascism, they say." She shrugged. Then turned to Jack and gave him a couple of banknotes. "Here, buy yourself a new netrunner's rig. And don't break it again." June winked at Jack. She shook her head in good humour, then turned to Taylor. "I will be going back to work, call me if something comes up... and you still owe me a meal." With that, she left the apartment.
As they broke away, Taylor shot June a look to make it clear she absolutely was not going to just let this go, but it wasn't the biggest priority right now. "Yeah, we'll meet up properly for lunch later. I absolutely will get on your ass about this, but I got too much work to do right now."
As she turned back to the TV, Taylor could hear June's laugh as she left. Just as he was about to leave, Jack saw something start happening on the screen. He could see his mother and some other man entering the room.
