As Taylor checked the sender... well, it didn't tell her much, only that the person was using 'Sover' in his email address. As she was checking the previous correspondence, she found that the two use to meet at the place called 'White dreams' to party and relax. As she looked over the apartment, she found a gun hidden under the pillow and stash of drugs. In the trash, she found was a bunch of used needles and syringes. Just as she moved to the kitchen, Taylor heard a sharp sound of breaks.
An almost animalistic sound escaped her throat, but Aria continued to stay stubbornly silent, even as saliva started dripping from a corner of her mouth, and flowing down her chin.
Taylor seized the gun for evidence to have looked at later and while the drugs themselves were of no interest to her, she had a clue about the person and place. She was surprised to hear someone arriving since she doubted the girl had came back from the dead. That meant it was time to bail out of the apartment before anyone asked questions of what she was doing here and work with what she had got.
Jack smirks, admiring the defiance. "Alright, then. How about a new deal. You keep your address to yourself, but in return I'll come up and find you in the hospital, and we'll have some fun here and now. See you soon."
Taylor looked around before turning off the light and leaving a room. She walked to the elevator. But stopped - she quickly realised, that whoever arrived, entered the elevator and was slowly moving up.
She closed the apartment door as she moved back to the edge of the hall, getting out a smoke and lighting it as she leaned against the wall, acting casual waiting to see who would enter and go into the apartment as she made herself look like just some neighbor out for a smoke.
For a moment, Jack considered whether to release Aria, or keep her locked to her rig, without connection to the network - coming to the decision, he followed through with it. Then he checked the data on the punk he searched. She was indeed admitted to hospital but died. Her body along with her things were in the hospital's morgue.
As the door opened, two people stepped out - a blond punk woman holding a large rifle and a bold man with a pistol. As they looked at Taylor, their eyes lighted in recognition.
Taylor chose to just calmly walk past them. If they knew who she was, they'd understand the problems of shooting a cop. At this distance...it would be safer to just subdue them with her bare hands where she excelled than rely on those guns in a hallway like this where they could barely aim them. She scanned them to see if they matched anyone on the data base as she made her way past. (Yeah. Going to be real with you. I can't say the blond mohawk thing is all that attractive.)
{Hmm... cover the head with a thumb. Better?} As Taylor started walking in their direction, the duo tensed, ready to spring to action, but didn't move. As the policewoman tried to connect to the database, she discovered that the access was being blocked. She supposed that the backpack on the man's back might have been the cause.
This look definitely like enough cause to take action. Taylor had the advantage of being trained for battle. Their rifles were high powered, but difficult to aim in these halls, leaving her confident she could get to them before they could to her, aiming to take them down with a few fast strikes to disable then to the ground.
He decides to give Aria a break, and sets her pleasure device to release her after a half hour, thinking that he should be done by then. Jack implants a program into the hospital security system, making the cameras tag him as a police detective, and then subtly delete all footage of him a few minutes later, so as not to leave a trail, while not alarming any security staff on shift besides Aria. He takes out a fake ID marking him as a police detective, and heads to the morgue. Going downstairs, he shows his police credentials to the attendant on duty to get them to let him inside.
With security netrunner out of the way, Jack easily got access to the security systems. He managed to rig the system. With that, he easily entered the hospital, and then the morgue. Inside, he found a wall with a number of 'deposits' for remains. There was also, on the other wall, deposists for clothes and personal belongings. There was a rig station that belonged probably to the forensics and a table for autopsies.
Without them actually attacking, she knew they probably weren't here for anything good, but she had already found what they were probably looking for. They wouldn't be impressed when they realize she already had the drugs if that's what they were after, but it would be good leverage if she could stash it somewhere safe. She began to leave the building and head for her car, picking a drop off point for the stash at some abandoned building, picked randomly before stashing it in some broken down walls. Nobody would just happen to stumble across it. That left her as the only person who would know where it was and with that in mind, she left to meet this dealer.
It was a tense moment, as Taylor passed the duo, but they did nothing. But when she made a few steps past them, she heard a soft click of the weapon. That was her only warning.
The sound made their intent clear. They had allowed her to get in arm's reach of them, saving her the trouble of closing the distance. With cyborg strength and police hand to hand skills, she figured she wouldn't have much trouble in bringing them to the ground, moving in rapidly to disarm and disable them.
Jack uses his manipulation skills to act like he's just some bored cop doing a routine errand, one he doesn't really care about either way. "Damn old guys." He mutters, as he goes to examine the blue haired girl's body, and collect her items. "Making the rookie do all the dull work."
Just as Taylor turned, she hit the woman's gun. The weapon flew to the side and discharged, hitting the male in chest and sending him flying out of the rail. His scream was cut short as it ended 11 floors below. Taylor was wrong. It wasn't a rifle, it was a shotgun. The woman was also not someone to be trifled with. After the initial surprise, she used the gun as a weapon. She wasn't skilled, but it was visible that she had some implants - as well as gun-fu program installed. Still, it was nothing in comparison to Taylor's skills. The punk tried some cinematic movements, trying to take down Taylor, only to be put down by a few short jabs. The blond collapsed on the ground unconscious after a strike to her chin.
As Jack opens the storage, he finds the naked body of the woman. The head and limbs were crashed into a mangled mess, covered with oil and blood. On her breast, she had a tattoo of red bull with horns ending on the studded nipples. He doubted that he would find anything of use in remnants of cyberbrain. As he checked her items, Jack found her wallet, a cellphone, some trash and a switch knife.
