"Indeed, my lady." Lutz said as he put the confession on the desk, then took a step back, waiting in silence for being dismissed. He knew better than to allow for his easy to roam. While day Sophia was a beautiful woman - as all women in her family - he had seen his share of perfect bodies. either in brothels or coiling in his dungeons. He always took sadistic pleasure in working on those women.
Gunther gives Caster the directions, and soon the carriage starts moving again through the vibrant streets of Novigrad, stopping in front of a large building. "Here we are, the Passiflora." Gunther announces, leaving the carriage and holding his hand out to help Mirellia out. "Because of your status, we'll go in through the back." Heading around, Gunther leads Mirellia to a side entrance, where he bribes a guard to let them in. Ascending a few flights of stairs, the pair find themselves in a hallway filled with doors on either wall, beyond which Mirellia can hear the sounds of blatant debauchery. "All right, I'll just go find out where our contact is. Stay here a moment, my dear, and I'll come collect you soon." Gunther walks off into a side hallway, and soon is out of sight. Walking around slightly down the hall, Mirellia sees that one of the doors has been left slightly ajar. Inadvertently looking inside, she sees a beautiful elf woman on her hands and knees, moaning. As she looks away, she sees two dark skinned men and a woman, perhaps Zerrikan in origin, walk into a different room, giving Mirellia a suspicious look.
Gustav casts aard, sending the wolf attacking him slamming against the wall. It whines once, and then doesn't move again. The older witcher stands, nodding. "Sure." Walking further down the hallway, Trista sees a small chamber with a bed in it, and a desk beside it. The furniture isn't fancy, being in a cave, but seems relatively well looked after, suggesting that it isn't from the old bandits. Looking around, she sees no one else in the chamber, and no nooks or crannies where someone could hide, even if the witchers didn't smell them.
Entering the brothel, Mirellia keeps up her usual noble appearance. And as Gunther left her, leaving her to explore by herself. She shuddered as she peeked inside one of the rooms, seeing the acts taking place. But the most surprising was the suspicious look she got from the Zerrikanians. Biting her lower lip, Mirellia's curiosity gets the better of her. Making her silently walk toward their door, and discreetly listening in.
"Are they spirits, though?" Abigail ponders. "People call them 'spectral riders', and yet they seemed very much real when I saw them." She shrugs. "I suppose we'll find out." The road from White Orchard leads the small party to Vizima rather quickly. At the end of the second day of travel, they find themselves facing the walls of the city. Estelle looks over at Ard when the horses draw up parallel to one another. "Well, I suppose it'll be good bye, soon."
"Hah!" She smiles, nodding and holding up her cup. "Maybe they would be. You'd have to work hard to keep me interested." Abigail gives a cheeky grin as she sips at her wine.
Katarina decided to playing in open cards and lower her sword. "Hey! Woodsmen, get out of hidding! We know about soldiers and your conflict with the innkeeper, let's talk this out." She look around the cave.
Sophia's smile never falters, as she reads the confession. "Ah, the girl's father will be pleased. Good work. Now, then." She takes a sip of some expensive liquor. "Have you ever been to Novigrad, perchance?"
Putting her ear to the door, Mirellia begins to hear voices from the other side. The sounds are hard to make out through the thick wood, and over the ambience of moans and music from the public floors, but the milf manages to catch a few words. "Vault...Hunt...Gate...Dijkstra..."
The man didn't comment on the acknowledgement of his work. It was a job well done, but boring. Hearing the lady's question, Lutz frowned. "No, my lady." He answered briskly. He had a bad feeling about this. The creature behind her was imposing, but he could probably take him - or not. He was not in hurry to try. It wasn't his job anyway. lady Sophia was one known for her... cruelty. He had a pleasure od taking care of co-claimer to her title, her own sister. After that, her mother and aunt were not that stupid to try their chances for the title. Neither were her children... yet.
Varrin quickly filled Angelica's cup with more wine before taking a sip himself. “I don't mind working hard for a beauty like you. Anything in particular you would like me to do for you, my lady?” He asked with a smile.
Hearing their conversation, Mirellia pondered what it was about. But, seeing how she could tell they were at least planning on robbing, or hunting a man named Dijkstra. She decided to listen in some more, while keeping an ear to her surrounding, prepare to move away at a moments notice.
Trista's voice echoes through the cave, but gets no response. Evidently the werewolf doesn't want to show himself, or isn't here. Waiting for a few minutes, however, Trista hears footsteps echoing down the tunnel, and sees Bogrid and the replacement woodsman enter the bedchamber, panting. "Yer werewolf showed up, in human form. He's at the front of the cave."
Sophia nods, and Lutz gets the intense feeling that she knew his answer before he even spoke. "I have an unusual task for you. In Novigrad, several groups are conspiring to break into the vault of a certain Redanian spymaster, by the name of Sigismund Dijkstra. I want you to ensure that one of these groups in particular is successful in accessing the vault, without them discovering that I've helped them in any way."
"Oh, I don't know." Angelica speaks in a mock arrogant tone, a far cry from her normal mode of speech. "Perhaps a massage might help you retain my attention?"
“Happily, my lady! Just lie down and I'll get to it right away! Any special requests for your massage?” Varrin played along.
Trista give to Bogrid box with coins. "Take care of that, we will split it later." She said and nod to Gustav. "So let's go to see him." She said and walk slowly in the way out of the cave. One of disadvetages of potion is fact, their eyes are now more sensive for light, so as they go outside they have to be carefull to not blind from sun. "I would prefer to not fight with him, until effect of Cat wear off." She whispered to Gustav.
"Feldonna...Steal...Whore...Wild Hunt..." She hears a few more muffled words, and then a banging within the room, before Mirellia hears steps approaching from down the hallway.
Lutz narrowed his eyes. Maybe it was time to help one of Sophia's spawn, get the throne. "With all due respect - the tasks you give me, my skillset does not suit it." He bowed his head. "A squad of soldiers, your spymaster or master at arms, would be far better suited to perform the task successfully." He commented. He wondered if the woman was simply looking for a way to get rid of him...
Angelica giggles. "I've got some deep knots, so don't be afraid to go hard." She lies down, removing the shawl to leave her wearing only her lingerie.
