I've started three stories here so far. On average it has taken 1-2 days for the mods to approve the starting chapter for each of them. After that, I can add chapters whenever I like and they post as soon as I hit the publish button
You're welcome! The mods are busy folks so it takes a day or two but they just want to check and make sure it looks like the story will stay within the site rules. You'll likely be in business before too long!
Oh yea they got it up a little earlier... In the new stories tab it says there is only one chapter even though 6 are already published by I just assume it takes time... But anyway yea I appreciate the help
For some reason, stories still in review are often incorrectly listed with a chapter depth of 1. It may be because none of the chapters are considered 'published', and 1 is the minimum rather than 0, but I'm not sure. Regardless, your story is now displaying the correct depth (7). We review stories only when they're first published, which lets us catch the bulk of rule-violating content. Rule-breaking chapters that are added onto a story later are dealt with through reports - thankfully and inexplicably, many CHYOA users seem to be very willing to report potential prohibited content, at least in my experience.
As long as the story is unpublished or in review, the numbers should be 0 as there are no public chapters. There is still a bug that makes CHYOA write 1 for the number of chapters and chapter depth when the story gets approved.
