The woman grabs feebly at the belt, trying to lessen the pressure on her neck. The dwarf smirks, but has a slightly angry look in his eyes. "Killing the woman does nothing. We can still torture her information out of you." He pats the axe blade at his side.
Recognizing the casino, Mirellia could only hope that the people's gazes from earlier was focused on her body, rather than her face. And as they met Danielle's contact, she's a little bit surprised to see such a daring man. Playing along, the sexy milf nods, "Mirellia." Introducing herself as she shakes his hand, while giving him her usual cold gaze.
Ard turned to Abigail, 'Yes... definitely Redania.' He looked at the whipped up crowd, whispering to Abigail, 'Get ready to run if this doesn't work.' He raised his voice, 'Please, please, calm down everyone, good people of Redania. I may be an elf but I am not a squirrel. I have done nothing to harm you. Would you want to be lynched for the crimes of your neighbour or kin? What if your neighbour kills a man in a brawl, would you want to be killed in revenge for his crimes? What if your brother steals from a merchant, would you want to go to the dungeons in his stead?'
Letting the witcher lead Varrin moved closer to his sister and whispered in her ear. “Your dress is damaged and your butt is exposed. I don't really mind, and I'm sure our companions don't mind either, but I thought I should let you know.”
"Good plan. If it does, then we'll just have to move faster than we anticipated." Gustav nods, before whispering in her ear. "Don't worry, I like your ass plenty." Isabella looks behind her, her dress mending, much to Boris' dismay. "Thanks for the warning, little brother." She smirks. The party comes to the end of the tunnel, where they see corpses along the ground, and over them, three monstrous creatures of rot and decay, who pause their feast to look at the newcomers and hiss.
Waldemar shakes her hand, looking down her dress as he does it. "A pleasure to meet you, Mirellia. You're the friend Danielle keeps telling me about? I see her tales of your beauty weren't exaggerated." He grins, not intimidated by the cold gaze. "You work with Danielle at Passiflora, I assume? She's quickly become my favourite, so I assume you won't disappoint either." Danielle blushes slightly at the praise.
Trista chuckled on Gustav complement and without hesitation attack monster in the middle by cutting his corpse, pushing him away by Ard and jumping back behind Gustav. "Quen Gustav!" to protect them from explosion.
Abigail nods, as Ard begins his speech. He sees that the logic has won over a few of the townspeople, before the preacher starts up again. "So says you! But I know you not! Who's to say that you've not just returned from murdering innocent humans on the road, and have come to sell their goods to their own brethren. Elves are a perverse lot! You'd probably get a kick out of it!" Reading the faces of the crowd, Ard sees the man's suspicions starting to undo the work he did before.
Varrin decided it would be best to leave this particular battle to the witchers, with support from his sister if it proves necessary. Thus he moved to the back and kept an eye on the way they had come from, just in case something – or someone – tried to surprise them from behind.
@moonblack Slicing through the rotten hide of the creature, Trista makes it back behind Gustav as it begins to bloat and expand. The yellow magic of Gustav's quen encases the group and shields them from the oncoming spray of toxic blood and jagged bone. The other two rotfiends are quick, however, and avoid most of the spray, attacking as Gustavo's sign dissipates. They're on the witchers in moments, one going for Gustav and the other for Trista. The female witcher is forced backwards as the creature slashes at it in rapid succession. Looking back seems to have been the right decision, for as they heard the fight with the rotfiends, two brave drowners emerge from the tunnel behind them, looking to flank the group. Seeing that only Varrin is paying attention to them, the two creatures rush at the noble, looking to gut him before Isabella, whose attention is fixed on the fight in front, can turn around to engage.
'Yes, precisely, you know me not. Yet you throw wild accusations around at the drop of a hat, What is it you do know?' Ard countered, 'Why, it's someone different every day who's responsible for their woes and grievances!' He looked to the people in the crowd, 'Tell me, is it the elf in the slums who comes to collect your taxes and the fruits of your labour? Is it them who fail and fail again to keep your roads and homes safe, to keep the monsters and squirrels at bay?' He pointed at the priest, 'Is it this man, day in and day out, who asks for your tithes just to give you the same sermon you have heard a dozen times and nothing ever changes for the better?'
"At the... Passiflora, yes, I do... and I won't." Mirellia was taken back for a moment, before playing along as she didn't want to blow their cover. She continues her cold gaze, despite him staring down her impressive cleavage. "Shall we move things along then? I'm sure you'd rather... see what's underneath my dress, instead of taking a peek."
As she dodges attack of the creature, Trista create on the ground Xrden, to slow down rotfiends, after next attack, she made her to stabing him in the head and by strong kick pussing it away to servers.
Lutz shrugged. "You are mistaken, I am simply cutting off loose ends." He paused, highly loosening the belt, allowing the woman a moment to get a breath before tightening it again. "Say, why are you so much about it?" He asked, an idea forming in his mind. Has his boss decided it was time to be done with him? Or has his boss finally went too far into pissing too many people...
“Drowners behind us!” Varrin shouted to warn the rest of the group as he threw a dagger at one of the creatures charging him and pointed his sword at the other so that if it did not stop it would impale itself on the sharp blade.
Appealing to greed works better than appealing to logic, and the crowd begins to argue. Ars knows he hasn't convinced them fully, a few lines can do little against years of indoctrination, but the stirring gives him a brief opportunity to get away if he wishes, though he has little way of knowing if they'll look for him if he disappears.
"Good idea." He slips his arms around their waists, before leading them down a guarded set of stairs into the private area. Mirellia knows from seeing the blueprints that the vault is at the bottom of the stairs, but he doesn't go that far, stopping at a middle level to pull the women into a reasonably sized bed chamber. Looking at the two of them lasciviously, he smirks and sits on the bed. "Why don't the two of you put on a show for me?" Unless he's a fine actor, he doesn't expect anything but sex from the two.
The trap, a purple magical seal on the ground, traps the creature and makes it vulnerable to Trista's blade. Her sword stabs right through its skull, and as she kicks it away, it explodes, quickly joined by Gustav's attacker as he kills it. Readying himself , Varrin impales his first attacker, killing the drowned outright, but the second is only cut by the dagger, and leaps at him.
The priestess wheezes as she's choked again. "I don't know what the circumstances are. Just that you're to be brought in and made to talk if you don't talk willingly." The dwarf shrugs, looking at the priestess.
Trista turn around on voice of Varrin about attack from behind them, she shout. "Lower your heads!" She said and with big jump in the air cut drowner.
