I only started writing about a month ago and is quite new. Recently I saw that someone had "approved" my story. Can someone tell me what that means? Please and thank you
If you wrote a story and clicked to had it 'published', it isn't immediately published on the main site. First, one of the editors/moderators/admins will have a look at it, then - if it is in accordance with site rules - he/she APPROVES of the story, allowing it to be seen on the main site and be read by the readers (It can take from hours to days). The editor can also reject the story on various grounds - it being too short, or having content inappropriate for chyoa site. It's a little different with chapters - in case you are not the owner of the story. Depending on the settings of the story you are adding your chapter to, it can either be immediately published after you click the 'publish' button. Or the creator/owner/editor (not necessarily the same person) of the story might need to first take a look at your chapter, and 'approve' of it - before it will be added to the story. He/she can also reject the chapter. Happy writing!
A published chapter will also be instantly public if a story role has been assigned to you (Owner/Editor/Author)
