Understood?" He lets her leave. At the palace, she finds a ship waiting for her, with a contigent of golden armoured guardsmen. As she enters the ship, she's handed a dataslate, with the priestess' details. Spoiler: (Former) Priestess Barra of Lave V A powerful telepath formerly in the service of Lave V's bishop, Barra has a reputation for acts of kindness and charity among the people of the planet, and even before the bishop was overthrown, was well known as a spiritual guide. Tests of her character prior to the heresy consistently indicated a strong loyalty to the church, making her part in blasphemy unexpected.
As Vivian enters the building, she hears a voice ring out. Intruders detected. Access - Denied. Deploying countermeasures. Gas begins to pour into the building through vents, but is filtered out by the helmets of the power armour. A brief scan of the gas indicates that it's neither flammable nor toxic. Perhaps some kind of paralytic? Heading inside the fortress properly, she sees a long entry hall, with row after row of derelict computing machines. Though the exterior is black stone, looking like a castle, the interior looks very much pre-imperial, sleek metal unadorned by any sort of religious symbols. Past the dead computers are three passages heading north, west and east. On the floor, she sees another expedition member lying dead, with no sign of what killed him, and no sign of where the other expedition members went.
Still, on her knees, Elena bowed deeper, her clothes moving slightly to the sides, showing more of her cleavage. "Thank you, your highness." She said warmly. "I live to serve."
Spoiler: Combat Sorcery Defence Roll D100: 33+15 (Order of Sorcerers)=48 (Fail) A round collides with the psychic shield, and breaks through it, the bullet scratching Vizelle's arm as it flies precariously close by, and causing some bleeding. Spoiler: Telepathy Roll D100: 75+15 (Order of Sorcerers)=90 (Crit) Using telepathy, she locates exactly where acolyte Lycere is positioned, kneeling down and using the ship for cover, with Verner bound and unconscious behind her. SHe can use her telepathy against the woman at this distance, though it will be more difficult at long range. On the other hand, if Vizelle waits to get closer, she'll risk another shot from the rifle.
Awkwardly, he tries not to look at her breasts. "Err, um, please, stand. You don't have to kneel before me when we're in private, especially when you've succeeded at your job."
"Ghhh!" Vizelle clutches her arm, using her bionics to close her wound. "Damned wench." She growled, moving closer, and taking the chance to dominate the blond inquisitor's mind.
A smile tugged her lips, as Elena put her hand on her chest, putting a look of fear on her face. "Does your Highness not find those pleasing?" She asked, her tone filled with worry. "Have I offended you, my Highness?"
Spoiler: Bionic Healing Roll D100: 12+15 (Order of Sorcerers)=27 (Fail) Try as she might, the pain and the stress of telepathy prevent her from properly healing the wound, and the blood continues to pour. Spoiler: Telepathic Attack Roll D100: 33+15 (Order of Sorcerers)=48 (Fail) Stress getting to her again, she reaches out for the girl with her mind, but the blonde's defences are able to ward off the psionic attack. Spoiler: Combat Psionic Defence Roll D100: 76+15(Order of Sorcerers)=91 (Crit) The acolyte's bullet hits Vizelle's shield, doing absolutely no damage.
He blushes wildly from embarrassment. "No, no! They're wonder- I mean, I don't have any, um, issue with them. It's just, you don't have to kneel if you don't want to, I mean."
A soft smile showed on her face. "Oh, but your highness, it's only proper position for a servant to take before her liege." She said seriously. "And it's obvious, that I do want to kneel in front of you, your highness."
"Rhhh." Vizelle growled, glaring at the blond's location, her yellow eyes emitting an ominous glow. She continues making her way toward the ship, stopping her attempts at healing, and focusing on telepathically dominating Jycere's mind, while keeping her barrier up.
Carius nods, looking confused as to what's going on. "I, um, suppose that you can keep kneeling, if you really want to."
Spoiler: Telepathy Roll 82+15(Order of Sorcerers)-10 (Distance)=87 (Pass) Reaching out again, she launches another attempt, and feels the blonde's resistance break down before the relentless psychic assault. She's in. Spoiler: Combat Psionic Defense Roll D100: 91 (Crit) Jycere fires again just as Vizelle gains access to the inquisitor's mind, but her bullet just ricochets against the shield again, completely useless.
Feeling her hold onto the inquisitor's mind solidify, Vizelle growls directly into her mind. STRIP DOWN, AND KNEEL UNTIL I GET THERE, YOU WHORE! As she makes her way to the ship, she keeps her barrier up, while moving her focus on closing her wound.
"As you wish, Your Eminence." She bowed her head and departed. Yannika made sure to greet each of the guardsmen personally when she arrived at the ship. She wanted to establish a report with them, and learning each of there names was a good start. Once she was satisfied she'd made a good impression, she proceeded to go over the sensitive nature of their mission. At the end she concluded with a make-shift speech. "The Holy Mother Church is the very bedrock of our society." she explained, "It is our culture, our civilization, the truth each and every one of us holds in our hearts. It is the glue that binds us together as a people. Without it, we are nothing. The Gods see all, hear all, and know all. They have tested the people of Lave V and our fellows have faltered. But they are not yet lost, for these souls have been led astray into darkness by false prophets, it is our duty to shepherd them back to the light. We know these deceivers to be false because our beliefs are right! We know ours to be right! Our Gods are the ONLY Gods! If any of you doubt that I shall attend to your soul, just as I will attend to our deceived brothers and sisters. But make no mistake, we will remove the cancer that has infected our world with extreme prejudice. Hegemony is Strength! Diversity is Weakness!" After her brief sermon, Yannika and her escort boarded the ship and set course for Lave V.
Spoiler: Healing Roll D100: 74+15 (Order of Sorcerers) As she moves, Vizelle feels the wound closing, painfully, but effectively. Heading to the ship, she sees the blonde naked on the ground, trying to break through the psionic programming and pick up her gun. Behind her, Verner begins to wake up.
Spoiler: Persuasion Roll D100: 87+15(Diplomacy Skill)=99 (Crit) The guardsmen clearly take kindly to someone who seems to actually care about them. After she gives her speech, they let out a raucous cheer, and she suspects that they'll go above and beyond on this mission. (Yannika's Guardsmen gain Motivated trait - +15 to any combat, morale or corruption resistance rolls involving the guardsmen during the Lave V mission) "We're with you, my lady." The sergeant, a bearded man a few years younger than Yannika, nods in respect.
"Nnnnh." Groaning as she felt her flesh mend itself, Vizelle takes a few deep breathes to calm herself. Especially as she saw Verner waking up, "Don't think there's any escape for you, whore." She growled, kicking away the gun, and checking on her disciple. If Verner's wounds were fatal, she tries to mend him with bionics, but if it wasn't. Vizelle turns around, moving in front of Jycere. She grabs the blond's head, "From now on, you work for me. And whenever someone whispers the words "Wake up, slut." You will beg them to use your body however they please." The sorceress then starts the brainwashing, making it so that if the code words were used, Jycere's body would begin moving on her own, while her conscious mind remained in the backseat to watch her whore herself out.
"And the gods are with you sergeant." Yannika said with a warm smile. "Now let's go do their good work."
Spoiler: Telepathy Roll D100: 70+15(Order of Sorcerers)=85 (Pass) As Verner begins to get up, Lycere's eyes go wide, as lewd begging begins to come from her mouth. "Please fuck me! Please, miss, sir, anyone! You can use all my holes, I don't care, just please, someone, fuck this depraved little whore!" Vizelle can feel the blonde trying to fight, but no dice. At that moment, Valleus approaches with the other disciples, and with Alexandros. "What's going on here?" The inquisitor looks between the two of them.
