She continues to writhe and moan as Vizelle toys with her. "Fuck..." She sighs. "Okay, okay, enough of the dramatic shit. I'll join up."
(She was more saying that Elena had to promise not to tell anyone, or else she'd be killed, but this works to.) Dubernay nods. A few minutes later, the ritual is complete, the madame's honesty in this case confirmed. "So, what do you intend to do now?"
"Good." Vizelle grins, undoing her spell... to an extent, not yet returning Shiv's body to its normal sensitivity. "But. You still did get captured, and you did kill some of my men's friends. So, you'll have to make it up to them yourself." The sorceress grins, "Don't worry, you can consider this punishment. One that will only get worse if you try to double cross me. And as I said. I reward good work handsomely. So once the ordeal is done, I'll let you name your price for your loyalty." She hummed as she moves toward the cell door, summoning Arnolf, and telling him to reach out to the Zhou's for a status report, and that they can gangbang the assassin for a few hours to make up for their lost men. Of course, they can't leave any permanent damage. After that, she heads back to the earlier slave's cell. Hmm. Might as well finish recruiting him, while I wait for news. She thought to herself with a smirk.
{oh... ups?} Elena waved the guards to leave them. When they were alone, she adressed the woman. "I received the information, that Empress Dowager might be involved - at least that's what one of the officers was made to believe... I want you to investigate that avenue."
"Works for me." Arnolf grunts, hands moving to his belt buckle, as multiple slavers follow him inside. The slave is only just beginning to stir, standing up from the floor.
"Good afternoon. Do you remember why you're here?" Vizelle asked with a smile, knowing his loyalty towards her was solid. And that she's sealed off their earlier meeting.
Elena nodded her head. "If you know, where the Emperor is - why have you not gave the location to the Empress or try to recover the Emperor yourself?" She asked.
“Strange... very strange...” Eanne commented as she looked at the sleeping maid. “Some of her memories are... gone. Simply gone. The last thing she remembers is before she became my employee. Everything after that... gone. I have no idea how this is possible, but clearly someone did not want to take any chances and covered their tracks well...”
"Ughh..." He rubs his head. "What? How did I?" For the second time in the past few minutes, she's faced with someone who's memory is wiped.
"I only just heard the rumour myself." She shrugs. "And if I tried to recover him myself, it might be interpreted as me making moves against him."
"Fufu. Now, now. Do you at least remember who I am?" Vizelle giggled, deciding to go ahead and fabricate more memories. About how he was always her disciple, and how he was acting like a regular thief as a sort of special training.
"Disturbing, but then again, I doubt that someone making moves against Imperial councilors would do so without covering themselves." She nods. "Perhaps the woman she replaces might lead to answers, if I can find her."
Elena frowned. "That would go for all... including me." She sighed. "It would look like I am making a power grab."
“Well, this is clearly not the work of some random mage, so whoever is behind this is very well prepared...” Eanne sighed. “Yes, perhaps finding Miriam will give us a clue. The odds are low, but better than nothing... Hmm, I wonder why it was necessary to replace Miriam with Julqe? Was it not possible to control Miriam?” She paused and looked at Dubernay. “This is a long shot and could prove to be just a waste of time, but could you check who were Julqe's last few clients? I'm wondering if one of them did something to her...”
Seeing his reply, knowing he'll be one of her pawns. Vizelle smiles, "Good, then let's continue where we left off. Sit down on the floor, please." She hummed, standing up, and removing her dress. She snaps her fingers, sealing his loyalty, and turning him back into his earlier self. The sorceress decides to implant additional memories, of how she "barely managed to fight off his control, and beat him down." Once everything was back in order, Vizelle acts in pain as she "disobeyed her master's commands." The sorceress wears a struggling expression as her stocking-clad legs shudder, "B-bastard, don't think you've won just yet." She growled, slowly backing away from him.
"It could." Dubernay agrees. "But if you get the emperor safely in hand and back on the throne, who could call you a traitor then?"
Elena sighted. It did not look as if she had much choice - not that she would trust anyone with that task, either. "Very well. Where can I find the Emperor?" She asked. It was highly strange, that he did not call for reinforcement to this moment...
"I'll give you the information. Of course, I hope we can keep this under wraps? I'd normally not share the names of clientele." Looking at the data slate she's handed, she sees that Julqe, for a while before becoming employed on Eanne's ship, was seeing two clients almost exclusively, an army general, and a noblewoman. The details of both are recorded on the slate.
