Heading back to the emperor, she sees Yannika fussing over him, trying to make sure he's as comfortable as possible, before he kisses her and assures her that he's alright. "Why don't you go communicate to the church that I'm safe?" He suggests, and reluctantly, she leaves. "Thank you, again, Sister Elena. I'm glad I chose to put you on the council when you were recommended." Slowly, he eases himself up. "All those innocents dead, just to try and kill me?" He scoffs.
"That you for your praise." Elena nodded her head. "You are the most powerful person in the Empire - you will always have enemies." Elena answered shortly. She turned to look at the door, where Yannika disappeared. "You are strongly quick to send her away when I am in." She commented.
"Good." Vizelle nods, looking at Jetts. "And now, we'll only need to take down Marcus." She grins, "You know where he is, yes?"
"I just... I'm not afraid of dying, I just wish that innocent people weren't in the crossfire." He broods for a few moments, before hearing her next comment. "Oh, Yannika? I love her, but she fusses over me too much. I sent her to do something to occupy her mind, so she wouldn't be worried about me, you know?"
A wicked smirk spread on her face. "I can occupy her differently," Elena suggested. "We do have many... toys here, and I am sure that my captain and first officer would be eager to get to know the future Empress closer." She paused. "They could even occupy her on your eyes... maybe do a little role-play?"
"How greedy." Elena smirked, "Very well, do inform her - maybe that should break her away from her tension. Do you have any other orders, my Emperor?" She asked.
"It's not-" He sighs. "Semen could mess with the gene therapy she's undertaking, could harm her or our future child. I'll let her know. As for orders, I need to make a speech to the people, so they know that I'm still alive."
"Oh don't worry. The imperial army will be taking care of him." Vizelle grins, "Rikkert, tell her Empress dowager that everything is ready. The remaining target is in the Devil Club, every lieutenant has been dealt with." She gave her order, "I'll leave it to you on how to organize these men."
Elena winced. "Giving a speech while you are in bed, is a no. I would suggest waiting a moment, allowing the Empress Dowager and Yanika to do their work, before giving your own message."
"Got it, mistress. We'll blow the bastards outta the water." Rikkert grins. "And what will you be doing, as the army destroys Markus?" Jett asks her, while Rikkert contacts the empress dowager.
"I can't just do nothing!" Carius shouts. "S-Sorry, I just... Sorry." He gives her an apologetic look. "I just... I was unconscious during the coup, I've been in bed while you, Vizelle and Hersillia had to solve the problem for me, I just... I feel so useless..." He looks up at her. "If I hadn't been flirting with you, maybe I might have seen those fighters, reacted sooner. This whole thing is my fault..."
“Wonderful! I look forward to... enjoying your company!” Eanne smiled at the noblewoman. “When should I expect you?” After discussing the details Eanne ended the call, and immediately called her servants to come to her. She did not trust this woman and thus needed to make some preparations before her arrival... (This was going to be longer, but I think splitting it in two like this works best.)
Elena had a small smile on her face. The boy was growing. "Good. But another thing you need to learn is to realise what you can and cannot do..." She stood next to his bed. "It's alright to order us around - that's what you are for. A symbol to command." She paused. "I need to ask, when exactly did you lose your arm?"
"An hour? I don't want to impose by coming too early, or too late." Delphis and Penelope arrive shortly after the screen goes black, and stand ready for her orders.
"Hmm?" He looks up at the question, having been lost in his thoughts. "Oh, uh, right after I landed, after the platform collapsed. I didn't really feel it." He glances at his wrist, where a bandage now sits instead of a hand.
Elena winced. "Then... I guess it's my fault." She sighted. "I am ready to accept any punishment for that mistake and the wound you received, you decide upon, my lord." She said as she stood straighter.
