Eanne tilted her head to the right as she examined her guest. “For someone who openly admits that she tried to have me assassinated you sure don't seem particularly nervous... let's start from the beginning. Why did you try to have me killed?”
"Oh, I'm nervous, believe me, I just see no reason to be coy." She takes another long sip, as Penelope arrives with aphrodisiac laden food. "Nothing personal, I assure you. I work...worked for a particular party, who did business with a criminal syndicate called Cold Moon. It turns out that Cold Moon put a hit out on you and the other councilors, without my maste-, I mean, employer, knowing. I mistakenly thought that my employer consented to the assassination attempt, and carried it out." Ahn begins to eat from her spiked plate. "Mmmh, this is lovely." She takes a large bite. "So, I tried to use your maid as my pawn, but something went wrong in the brainwashing process, and I couldn't break her. Julqe was easier, though, since we were already lovers, and it wasn't hard after that to get her on your ship."
“Interesting... well, first of all, I want my maid back. Second, who is this master you speak of?” Eanne had the feeling there was something the lady was not telling her.
(Goddamn those rolls...) "Guhk!" Grunting as she's kneed in her stomach, Vizelle slowly gets up. "H-hehe. It is a shame I couldn't add you to my ranks." The sorceress grunts, deciding to go for one last attack, knowing she wouldn't be able to run away. She focuses her psionics, adding in a small amount of the ancient power she had. Vizelle attempts to cause a small implosion inside Marcus, hoping to blow him from the inside out.
She nods at the demand for Miriam. "I placed her in cyrogenic stasis. She'll be returned." At the question about her master, though, she looks nervous and uneasy for the first time, compounded as she begins to blush as the first of the aphrodisiac hits her system. "I...I don't... I don't know..." She shakes her head. "They gave me a sphere, I used it to communicate with them, but when I failed, they cut all contact and did...something...to me. I can remember...warmth... satisfaction...when I was around them, but not who they are." Either she's a very good liar, or telling the truth. Her distress seems genuine.
“Very interesting... so I take it this mysterious master is the one responsible for erasing Julqe's memories? Sounds like a skilled psionic who knows how to cover their tracks... Anything else you can recall about them? Also, where is this sphere they gave you?” Eanne asked more questions as she watched the aphrodisiac start to work on her guest.
Spoiler: Psionic Attack Roll D100: 89+15 Spoiler: Markus Attack Roll 67+15 Markus reels back in pain as she attacks him, blood pouring from his mouth. "Kill...you..." He groans, still trying to reach her, but totally vulnerable.
"I'm sorry, but no." She shakes her head. "They took everything. I can remember that I had conversations, received orders, but not any specifics." She takes another bite, beginning to flush red. "I-uh... Yes, I have it at my estate..."
Vizelle grins, "Sorry. But you've already lost." But don't worry. I'll take good care of the men who've chosen to join me. She sent a telepathic message to Marcus, before using her psionics to overload his mind.
“I see... I mean no offense, but I am a little hesitant to trust your words after you admitted that you tried to have me killed, so... would you mind showing me your memories? I want to see for myself what you remember.” Eanne requested.
Markus claws at his face, eyes going white, before he falls limp. Without a leader, his forces, what remains of them, begin to surrender en masse.
With Marcus dead, Vizelle picks up the general's severed arm and attempte to reattach it using her bionics.
"I understand." She nods. "I won't resist." Entering the noble's mind, Eanne feels the same thing she did with Julqe's - a black void, where the memories aren't damaged or locked away, but simply not there.
“Hmm, it seems you are telling the truth...” Eanne commented after she saw that the woman really had no memories about the mysterious master. “So tell me, what do you think I should do with you now? You did try to assassinate me...”
Spoiler: Biomancy Roll D100: 73+15 (Pass) "Thanks, lass..." The general sighs as the arm is reattached. For now it hangs limp, but in several weeks he should regain movement. On the battlefield, soldiers are taking the Cold Moon thugs prisoner.
Ahn bites her lip, before leaning in. "I'd suggest... You make use of me." She smirks. "I have connections... skills... And other assets..." Leaning forward, Eanne gets a great view of the woman's immense cleavage. "And I'm currently unemployed."
"Fufu. And with that, the capital is a lot more safer." Vizelle grins, "I will leave the clean up with you, general. I'm sure the emperor wouldn't mind if that casino somehow had no money." She cooed, trying to gauge the old man's reaction.
“Hmm, that is a tempting offer... I'll need to think about it, and obviously it will take a while before I would be willing to trust you after the whole 'failed assassination' business, but I am willing to give you a chance...” Eanne nodded, openly ogling the woman's breasts for a few moments before looking at her face. “Are you alright? Your face is red... Feeling hot? If so, feel free to take off your dress – it might help cool you off a bit, and I certainly don't mind...”
"You know how it is with troops after a victory." He shrugs. "Impossible to control, and if they snag some trophies from the enemy, who am I to criticize?"
"I understand. I'll work to earn your trust." At Eanne's suggestion, she can't help but grin. "What a good idea." She stands, and shrugging away the straps of her dress, lets her extraordinary body be exposed to Eanne's ogling gaze.
