Luckily, there doesn't seem to be a trap. The person above, who's climbing the wall, just knocked down some loose stones, but none hit Natasha.
"I see, make sure our men keep an eye on their movements." He replied, before making his down to his chambers with Eloise. Once they were alone, he sighs, "I... have no idea. But, whatever this is, it just proves that we're dealing with some super natural stuff." He shrugged, "So, do you have any memories? Like, I got this pharoah's and mine all mixed up. How about you, anything interesting?"
Beatrice frowned. "Indeed." She nodded her head. "I want you to show me the way to Seth's city... and what you found there." She stated directly. She needed information. She could do without the ghost's input, but it was better to have more information to go by.
Natasha look up to person to see who his above her. Her first instinct was to try her new ability to fly, but she considered it wouldn't be smartest idea to show her powers. Luckily she had other choice to deal with such climber without rising alarm. She grab stone size of bascetball and throw it in the spy/assassin, to make him fall down.
"I kinda figured." She rolls her eyes as he says they're dealing with the supernatural. "Yeah..." She gulps, seeming as though she's looking far away. "It seems that I...I mean, she, was a spy. Working for Anai. Some of the stuff with Anai is kinda hazy, but it seems like my...her...job was to romance you...him...you know what I fucking mean." She says irritably. "She said romance, though, not assassinate or manipulate, so I don't know what the end goal was."
"I can show you, sure." The ghost materialises. "But what I found there needs to be seen to be understood." He chuckles. "It tricks you, you know. At first you think that there's just monsters and madmen, but soon you find that the city itself is working against you...changing when you're not looking."
Spoiler: Combat Roll D100: ????: 97 ????: 89+10 Natasha feels the stone fly forward with a satisfying swoosh. It rockets through the air, hitting something soft, and Natasha hears a pretty female voice swear. "Merde! Putain!" The voice whispers, and the figure begins clambering for a window.
Beatrice frowned. "Did you make it up to Queen Anai?" She asked, curious if the man passed the defences of the city.
"Well, It isn't the best time for practice." Natasha said to hersellf and make rush up and jump hight, to make it look from outside as she jump realy good, not fly. She wanted to grab female intruder by arms as long as climb, being carefull for daggers, to separate her from the wall.
"I only ever saw her from a distance. Or... I think I did." He sighs. "It's hard to say if the woman I saw was the real Anai. Even time is screwy in the city. You might see an old man get buried in the grave, only to see him walking around as a teenager twenty minutes later."
Jumping up, Natasha sees a surprising sight: A cat burglar, in an...interesting...costume. "What are you... Ugh?" She grunts in a whisper as Natasha grabs her.
Beatrice frowned hearing this. "Then how you actually go past the city's defences?" She asked. If this went on, if they found the city, they would not be able to find the Anai's treasures...
"Hehe. Yeah, I do." He chuckled, speaking and laughing in a way unfit for a pharoah. "So, romance? Then that means Anai must have wanted this guy as an ally... or maybe a pawn?" Mori/Akrem shrugs, "But the weird thing is. Why do you still look like you?" He tilts his head, "I mean, not that I'm ungrateful, you're still one of the hottest milfs I've seen. But, you know, I'm... this guy, and you're still Eloise. I don't suppose you have any egyptian heritage?"
"Defences? There are no defences. Well, there are the guardians, desert dwellers who try to keep people out, but they can be reasoned with. After them, it's just a matter of walking through the gate." The ghoul smiles ominously. "Of course, walking out is a lot harder."
"From what I know of Anai, I'd say that pawn is far more likely." Eloise rolls her eyes once more. "I'm so glad you still think I'm a 'hot milf'. As for why, I don't have any more clue than you do. I don't know of any heritage, though not many people could trace their lineage back that far, anyway."
Beatrice frowned. "Harder?" She asked, then realised something. "So... if you could go in, why was it difficult to find Anai?"
"Hmm. Understandable. But anyway, you think this is just a realistic vision, or did we get thrown back in time?" Mori/Akrem sighed, thinking that it may be dangerousnto associate himself with Anai. But, if the power she'll give him was helpful. He'd just consider it payment for his services. "Anyway, we're about to head to this city of Sett. Isn't that where Anai is? I'm a little foggy on the details."
"She has a tomb in the center of the city. Or... It's not her tomb, but it's where her body is." He shrugs. "To get inside, you needed these...orbs, that were all over the city."
Natasha hold her hands, to not let's her move too much. "I'm asking here questions. Who are you and what are you looking for in this mansion? I warm you, if you try anything I will scream and all people around will find you." She said checking woman for hidden daggers and other weapons.
"Again, no clue." She pinches herself. "It feels real, but hard to say what the rules are with magic - they might work differently than dreams." She nods. "According to the legend, Anai went to the city seeking power, and was never seen again. But..." She wonders aloud. "Anai can't be around in this time period, right? Judging by which pharaoh you are, we're in the Bronze Age. Anai wasn't even born until Classical Antiquity... The timeline doesn't make sense. How can these people be talking about her?"
