Beatrice nodded her head, satisfied. "And how do we get there?" She asked about that and directions on how to leave the temple.
Once Eloise returned with the grenades, "Taste the wrath of the pharaoh!" He exclaimed, grapping one explosive, pulling the pin, and throwing it as best he could to the grouped up knights. After that, he returns to using the rifle to open fire.
Natasha smile. It seems their friend come after them faster than she expected, but that is ewen better. "It look like not only us going to meet Anai. Let's go and let guards fighting with others intruders. Less fight for us." She said and walk deeper into palace.
"There is a tunnel not far from here, which will lead you back up to the temple, and the city." The man explains.
Spoiler: Combat Roll D100: 55 This time, Mori/Akrem is less lucky. The grenade goes flying, hits the space in between the two forces, and explodes. Though the pharaoh is pretty sure he's thoroughly impressed his court, only one of the automata falls to the ground. Likewise, when he returns to firing his gun, the gun goes high. He manages to hit a few, and take out one, but by the time he hears the click that announces that the magazine is empty, he realises most of his bullets went into the sky or the building behind the foe. Mori's army and the automata clash with each other, formation against formation, as more enemy forces emerge from the entrance. Natasha hears someone shout "Taste the wrath of the pharaoh!" Then she hears a grenade go off, and more rifle rounds being fired. Natasha and the thief dart deeper into the ruin, dodging the hundreds of enemy soldiers who march out to join the fight outside. Heading down a set of stairs, deeper and deeper, Natasha emerges into a large chamber. Down below, green light emanates, but large gates bar her from entry, three openings carved into the gate being present - large enough to fit an orb the size of the one in her hand. As she thinks of what to do, though, Natasha hears footsteps behind her. "This place is forbidden..."
Natasha get ready her orb to fight and turn around to coming footsteps. "Yeah, that is the point but you should said that to these outside. It look like this prison didn't work too well." She said.
"Ah, crap. Eloise, get me more ammo!" Mori/Akrem ordered as his rifle ran out of bullets. "Ah, damn it, more of those." He clicks his tongue, deciding to simply throw another grenade. This time at an area where the metal knights were clumped together, aiming to disrupt their formation.
Beatrice frowned, thinking... "What do you think, my love?" She asked. Maybe the man would throw some light on their situation... but she suspected what they sought, as here in the temple. The men could have lied...
A masked figure is standing there, approaching slowly. "They'll be dealt with when their turn comes." He says ominously. Looking around, Natasha sees that the thief is nowhere to be seen.
Spoiler: Combat Roll D100: 68 The second grenade lands amid the back lines of the enemy, and white hot metal goes flying as the concussive blast rips through their numbers. Eloise simply hands Mori/Akrem a second rifle, as one of the enemy warriors begins to leap over the shields of his allies, heading towards the pharaoh's litter.
"It's possible that he was lying..." Gregoire nods. "But I don't think so. He seemed genuine enough to me."
"Hm~ And what do you think we should do? Should we trust their words?" She asked curiously. "After all, they did live that big monster..."
"Damn it, how many of them are there?" Mori/Akrem groaned, momentarily forgetting his haughty pharaoh persona. For now, he aims carefully as he shoots at the knight approaching them.
“Mmm, that feels nice...” Miriam moaned in approval as Kelly massaged her breasts. She had been planning to ask for a kiss on her nether lips, but that proved unnecessary as Kelly did it of her own will. “Mmm, yes... you seem to be a natural at this, Kelly...” Miriam moaned again as the priestess licked her. “As nice as this is, let's switch – I want to taste your pussy...” She requested. From the corner of her eye she watched the general's reaction to their little show, but most of her attention was on her current partner.
Natasha take a battle stand, being on her own again. "So what now? Are you going to fight me or stop in other ways?"
"I don't know - the monster seemed like it was there to protect the books." Gregoire shrugs. "It's up to you, but I don't know what choice we have - this place is massive beyond belief."
Spoiler: Combat Roll D100: 37 Try as he might, Mori can't hit a single shot under pressure, and the monster leaps onto the litter. Guards attack it, and Eloise oens fire with her pistol, but it keeps coming for the pharaoh.
@Omega98 The general looks at the two women, grinning and naked, his significant manhood poking up in appreciation of the view, but for now, he's keeping his distance. In the back of the room, Kelly's husband is stroking himself again, looking away as he makes eye contact with Miriam.
Beatrice frowned as she turned to priests - they also protected books. "That beast... it was yours..." She said with a frown. "You made it attack us?" She said accusingly. They were tricking them, is what she thought. Were they leaving beings... or magical constructs...
