Natasha furiously stab into Anai barrier, to break through and pierced her neck with blade. "Come on, give up! You already live tousands years, it is natural order to follow death!" She shout angry, using power of spear to destroy barrier.
"Woah, what the?" Mori/Akrem exclaimed as he felt the slight tremor, "Hey anyone know what that hidden room is about?" He informs the rest of his allies about his finding, completely out of his element to attempt any greedy moves. After all, any riches he might find would go to waste if he dies.
@Tjf Beatrice snarled. Her treasure! Her power! She shook with rage. How dared they take it away from her! She breathed in deeply, calming herself. Without them, they would not win... through, she doubted Anai was gone for good. She started looking around. There had to be some treasure here... Something that would make this journes worth it...
Kelly cursed her luck and racked her brain trying to think of what she could possibly offer. It seemed to be a recurring thing for her on this journey. Once again the only thing that occurred to her was to offer sex, but these were men of stone, what good would such an offer be?... Then, when she looked up again, the battle was over and her companions were victorious and all her concerns were for nothing. The priestess of Isis rose again and moved towards where Anai's throne was. Anai was dead, turned to dust; her sisters were avenged and Isis's will was done. "Huh." She heard Akrem ask about a secret room and shrugged her shoulders. "I-I don't know anything about it." Kelly replied before she looked at Max, a quizzical expression on her face.
@Tjf The mention of a treasure room caught Miriam's attention, but she chose to ignore it, more concerned with getting out alive together with her pets. If the others wanted to be greedy and try to get some treasure – and potentially trigger some sort of trap along the way – well, that was their decision. Putting the gun away Miriam went to join her companions.
Anai perishes, as a slight tremor occurs and the secret room is unveiled. As Miriam begins to move away, Beatrice approaches the broken wall, trying to get into the hidden room.
"What do you think? Should we run, or should we see what's inside?" Mori/Akrem asked Eloise, relying on her expertise on the manner.
"Perhaps we can grab something?" She whispers, biting her lip. "Just one thing, let's not spend too much time in there."
"Roger that, let's go." Mori/Akrem nods, leading her inside the hidden room. He uses his smuggling instinct to determine whatever's the most valuable... though he only hoped he can bring it back to their time, along with the pendant he nicked off the dead clone.
Natasha get down of her battle fury, coming back to herself. That means they won? She wasn't sure, but it look like. She take few steps and go with others to hidden room.
Kelly followed Beatrice, Natasha and Mori/Akrem towards the broken wall, curious about what was inside.
@Tjf Before moving into the hidden room, Beatrice checked the entrance and sorroundings, to make sure there was no hidden trap.
The rumbling gets worse, and the group realises they'll only be able to grab one item each, as they break through the wall to find a large chamber filled with treasure on the other side. Looking around, Mori spots two thungs in reach: A pile of gold coins and gems, and a hind sized bell inscibed with inscriptions of a naked woman, with an inscription that Eloise translates as the "Bell of Isis," once used by a sorcerer of legend to bend countless women to his will, including a queen. Looking around, Natasha spots two items that attract her eye: A set of armor that covers all but her erotic parts, but that gleams with a glow that makes it seem indestructible, and a sword that blazes with fire. Inside, Kelly sees a fortune in gold, but what truly draws her eyes are a huge dildo made of ebony that seems to promise endless pleasure, promising to turn into a man the size of her bodyguards with a package to boot, who can protect or pleasure her at her leisure, and a sexy, revealing dress that changes the shape of the mannequin it's slung across, and can do the same to an Isis priestess wearer. Heading into the room, Beatrice sees two items that fill her with desire - a spellbook written in Ancient Egyptian, that she somehow knows will fill her with great power, and a bowl of dates, that, somehow she knows, will prolong her life and retain her beauty exponentially whenever a single one is consumed - giving the option of near immortality. @moonblack A devotee of Horus now, Miriam can tell the items she can choose from by sight: The Eye of Horus, an item that can pierce through a person's mind and reveal their most guarded thoughts, and the Staff of Horus, an item that can compell obedience in a person - forcing them to obey a command by the user. Natasha grab armor set, and put it on immediately. "This is one bullshit in most adventures. You gain as reward special items what you could use to defeat the boss, if it wasn't just the boss who guarded it." She chuckled to hersellf as she again get dressed. Maybe not completely dressed, but still it was better than walking complety naked.
Miriam needed but a moment to choose. Sure, a staff that could force a person to obey one of her commands was nice, but knowing people's thoughts was a lot more useful overall. Thus she chose the Eye of Horus and quickly took it before going back to the xit, ready to leave before the whole place collapsed.
Beatrice cursed, as she desired both item - for a moment she wanted to go after the bowl - having eternity, would be nice - but instead decided to go for the book. She knew that there were various ways to retain immortality. Anai was a proof of that. She grabbed the book, before departing. One day she would return here and get the rest of treasures... she also did not resign from enslaving Anai. She would find the queen's ghost, and make her serve...
"Well, I already know which one to take!" He chuckles, reaching for the bell, after all, it was what was promised to him. "Alright, let's go Eloise-chan!" He exclaimed, making sure his loot, which consisted of the knife, the clone's necklace, and the bell was secured.
The dildo was tempting, far too tempting and Kelly found herself reaching for it; but the priestess shook her head. Having men ravish her day an night was not something she was planning on lacking from here-on-out. Instead she took the revealing dress, with it she reasoned she'd be better able to tailor herself to her lovers' desires.
Prizes in hand, a quake and sound of crushing inform the group that it's time to leave. Sprinting up the steps, the less athletic of them being carried by Kelly's bodyguards, they make it to the surface, just a moment before the tomb is torn asunder and slides back down into the desert sands. Looking around, they see that the great city that was there before, and its dangers, are now just a few deserted stone ruins, swallowed up by the desert. Each explorer realises instinctively that the strange time bending of the city has ended, and that they're back in the modern day. As the group thinks takes a moment to breathe, Natasha considers her options. On the one hand, she could make her way back to the exfiltration point her unit established, and take a helicopter ride back to base, after which her superiors can decide what to do with the few relics she managed to unearth - and she can return to the life of a soldier. Or, she could perhaps make her own way, selling the relics to fund her new life and going AWOL. Or, she realises, looking at Max and the texts on the art of humility, she can try to unearth more of the ancient art, and seek to deepen her powers. The eye fits neatly into her pockets, and she feels a rush of power as she touches it. Outside, seeing the ruins, Miriam ponders what to do next. The city's magic may have left it less impressive looking than she was hoping for, but even these old ruins are an impressive find, enough to cement her reputation as an archaeologist and shut up her doubting parents for good, and it's not like Melinda is in any place to rob her student of the credit. As for Melinda, Miriam considers her options. After all, Taia is still in Melinda's body - Miriam wonders how to deal with that situation. As she exits out into the moonlight, Beatrice realises that she's not in her own time anymore. Something primeval tells her that she's in the modern world, the world of the slave who had tried to steal her body from her. Looking at the spellbook, she determines that it will only take some translation to uncover the secrets to return to her own time - and continue her plans to become master of the medieval world. At the same time, she thinks, she could also explore this new, modern world, and exert her power over an entirely new generation. The slave's memories come rushing back to her, informing her all she needs to know about the cult that had owned her. Perhaps that cult could use a new master? Outside, Mori/Akrem sees that the others are pondering what steps to take from here, and he does the same. He's still in the body of Akrem, young and vigorous, but he knows instinctively that his original body is where he left it, and Eloise informs him that she knows of a legend about how to change back, should he wish. Atema is nowhere to be found, presumably having remained in her own time, though he overhears Beatrice muttering to herself about a spell to travel through time - and thinks that he could probably collect Atema and bring her back to the future. Either way, he has to consider his next move: Does he return to Kaneda-san, or make his own way? Feeling the moonlight wash over her, Kelly smiles, and falls into her husband's arms. Sadly, the bodyguards have disappeared - relics of an older time, and she feels sorrow at the fact that they'll never have a chance to be inside her again. Nonetheless, she feels Isis smiling down at her, and begins to moan in pure pleasure as her godess' voice sounds in her mind. Beloved daughter, you have avenged your sisters, and made me proud... Your path from here is your own to choose. You can keep your blessings and go back to your old life, as a loving spouse and teacher - I know that you would continue to honor me with your actions. My palace in Utopia is open to you, as well. I give you leave to depart the mortal world and join your mother in paradise. Or, you can become my agent on Earth, not just honoring me by pleasing men with your body, but by recruiting other beauties and rebuilding the order. The choice is yours. He scratches the back of his head, agreeing to change back into his originao body, as he wouldn't want to surprise his fiance, Helga. And hearing about a time travel spell, he decides to take the chance to collect Atema. After all, it'd be a waste if she just disappears. And it'll be a fun prospect being the father of a pharaoh. Then, thinking about Kaneda, he thinks of finishing his job with him. Since he doesn't want some blood thirsty yakuzas hunting him down, while he fucks his new harem. For now, he examines the necklace, and the dagger. Trying to determine which was the safest artifact, in terms of magic, was the best to give him. He figured the now de-powered necklace was the best bet.
