As Luo Fei made her way down, she realised it was quiet... really quiet. It was a middle of the night, and it seemed like the owner was asleep. But she did find a pot with cold soup in it in the main chamber...
As she was lead to the mansion, Mulan was finally stopped in front of a chamber. After a moment of waiting, she was allowed in. There, she saw a young couple, talking in whispers before the man turned to face Mulan. "Ah, so you are the one who killed the beast!" He said with a smile as he looked at the head of the bear.
The two looked at him surprised... after a moment, Wen Quing nodded her head. "Yes... we are unhurt." She said, the other woman, nodded silently, agreeing with what Wen said. It was strange... before, always her voice was filled with superiority...
Mulan hold the head, to not ruin the floor in the mansion, she would like to awoid making damage, which cost her more than reward was worth. She bow her head before couple. "Yes lord Kong Ru, this beast attack me in the forest while I traveling. I heard from the guards that bear scared villiagers." She said, looking around beatifull chamber, wondering how much it could costed. "My name is Mulan." She add.
Lian Cai chuckled with him. "That's not what I meant, Elder Brother... you look more... composed... centered." She tried to use words, to describe something she could not. After a moment of silence, she gave a soft yawn... "Well, elder brother, I will go to sleep." She got up and started leaving, then paused. "Will you be going to sleep, or are you going to try your new 'vigour' in red light district?" She asked.
"Hmm? That's odd." Luo Fei hummed as she noticed the silenece. "Is there no one drinking in the bar, or have I medidated that late into the night?" She pondered to herself, and as she found the soup, "Haa... I guess I can refrain from eating for now." She sighed, it was already unappetizing when warm, she didn't want to know what it tasted like when cold. "Right, I suppose I should test out my new abilities." Luo Fei grins, heading outside, looking for an open space to test her new strengths.
"Heh, you even have to ask?" The young man grins, still feeling the effects of his...whatever happened to him. "Unless you're volunteering to spend a night with me, I'll see you tomorrow." Unless the woman says yes, he does as he says, going to find a nice brothel.
Wang seeing this becomes very confused about this he did not expect for them to insult him after all they are in precarious situation and need to not be at each necks but he did expect at least a snarky remark or a tone of superiority but he got none of that as such he ask one more question to them "What about your mental state ,i ask because you two are not acting the same as you acted in the past "He says while looking at them both
The Wolf Woman bided as much time as she felt comfortable doing. She wanted to ensure that the initial group of bandits that she encountered included that rabbit-kin. She wasn't sure if it would make any difference, but hoped that it would at least give her one sympathetic ear. She made sure that her Expanding pouch and the contents within were tucked away within her clothing, then stepped out into the camp. She made sure that her hands were in the air and she moved carefully so that the bandits didn't think she was acting aggressively. Yu Yijin tried to hide her sour mood towards the whole thing, but couldn't really bring herself to do so as she declared her intentions. "My name's Yu Yijin. I'm sure you want to rob me and take me prisoner, but I don't have anything of value on me nor anyone to pay a ransom. I'm here to..." She hesitated to say 'join', so went with the next best option "...provide services. I'm willing to provide what skill in alchemy I have to provide healing in exchange for a safe place to sleep."
"Splendid!" The man exclaimed, his voice filled with joy. "Madam Mulan has done us a great service!" He exclaimed. "Today, we shall fest in your honour!" He called. The servants quickly got to working, as the woman who was with lord Kong Ru walked to Mulan. "I am Lady Yi, wife of Lord Kong Ru." She said as she nodded her head. "Please follow me, I will take you to the place where you can refresh yourself." At her nod, two guards cam to collect her bloody trophies...
As she walked out of the building and looked around, it was indeed a dead of the night. The village was silent, everyone seemed to be sleeping... As she walked for a while, she found an open place on a hill, above the village, where she could test, while not waking up anyone.
Mulan nod her head, expecting more question and less graditue. It look like outside the sect, not all people put in doubts every words what they said. "Thank you Lady Yi." She said and follow her. "May I ask... How long this beast treaten the area? " She asked wondering, why they didn't call any help from the other sects.
A small blush covered her cheeks, but then, she shook her head. "I will have to refuse, elder brother. I am dead tired and the sake got into my head." She said as she retreated to her room. Being left alone, he started traveling through the city. Finally, he found red-light district. But should he use one of more expensive places... or search one of street walkers, for a cheap relief...
