I just have to thank Zack and Victoria (and therefore Duskford) for getting me into reading mystery novels. Read Hammett's "The Maltese Falcon" last year, Conan Doyle and Poe over the winter, and just started my third Agatha Christie novel (second Poirot story) of the summer.

Were Zack's parents ever given names besides Mr. and Mrs. Bishop?

In my continuation of the thread, Zack was gone for a over a decade. One could spin the story in such a way that his departure affected those around him so much that they all turned against him.
