Using the same expressions is fine. I am a strong advocate for that. Find an expression that fits the mood of the story and stick with it. Mostly my difference is between dialogue and narrator.

This is indeed a brilliant game, I am also in love with it, and want it to expand and/or create something similar. Have been playing it three times with three different characters and still find new stuff every time.

Just a side remark: The current system understands Conditions with spaces or punctuation in between. There is no need to have a One-word-variable. Of course, there are reasons why doing it like you did might still be just fine and easier to handle.

You can't just turn on game mode for one chapter, unfortunately. I just checked it with Red Monika. You either automatically go back to your last chapter in game mode (if you have played before and have just "ended", not resetter) or you are thrown back to first chapter.
