I think trying to reason with this guy is the best path. I suspect what’s behind his is the path to The Deep, and whatever is blocking it off to prevent Goma and Isalia’s return. That’s the only thing (at least that we know about) that Izzy would want to keep us away from. Especially with the risk of lethal force. Take, try to talk him into letting us through. We have enough firepower that we could probably kill Izzy if we wanted to. But we don’t! We’re looking for a path to a peaceful solution. Dreg has been a terrible influence on Izzy, and we want to bring Goma and Isalia back to convince Izzy to stop all of this. The whole reason he’s blocked off their ability to return was because part of him knew they could talk him down from all of this. But he didn’t kill them because he cares about them and doesn’t want to hurt them. He’s also avoided having sex with any of the goblins because he sees them as family. These aren’t the actions of someone who wants to run a sex cult, they’re the actions of an insecure young man who’s being taken advantage of by perverts like Dreg and Malia. If Izzy feels stifled on this floor, like he wants to meet new people outside of his family, we’re happy to take him along with us and give him new opportunities. But the best way to do that is to let his moms talk to him.

If talking him down doesn’t work, I’m not sure I agree with sneaking past him with Cloak. He might have heard about it, as I think Take has shown it off before in front of the cultists. If he’s prepared for it it could lead to a severe injury for Take. But given how the votes are looking, if we have to I think using wLurker’s plan to have the Bull approach could be used to cover up Take’s approach. Have him approach and say something like “they’ve gone after Lord Windgrace, should we follow and strike from behind?” or something while Take sneaks up.

Well, Take could try sneaking past the cultist alone and trying to free Isalia and Goma, but we would probably have to get past him on the way back again.

Take could certainly use a seamstress extraordinaire at the rate we have been going through clothing. If not having quite as many fighters as the last run holds she might even get her own shop on each floor to wait for the group, and maybe find a place where she can comfortably settle after we reach the final floor.

I think it’d be worth it to go back, apologize, and try again. Agree with Huginn on offering a spot as a noncombatant tailor if she wants it, like Martin. But outside of that one misstep I think we can persuade her by talking about how this cult isn’t good for the elves and isn’t good for Izzy. But if we get through, presumably we can get Goma and Isalia and deescalate this whole situation. Goma especially will be very handy in neutralizing cultists without hurting them thanks to Puppet. This whole situation was whipped up by Dreg to block the path to the next floor, with some help from Malia to get back at Yulia and her allies.

I agree with talking. Only thing I would want to have is some sort of way to remove the dangerous crossbow from the talks. At the very least Mal should be somewhere safe and ready to heal someone if they get shot.

I think we have very little else to do other than to go see Izzy, as Maple says.

Hmm, I kinda assumed there would be some way to contact them... guess the tower won't let us progress without confrontation. Maybe we could rest and wait, see if something changes? What if we shout down the shaft, maybe someone would hear and shout back.

If we are going to Izzy we need a really good plan, I'm not sure how we are beating him without killing. Talking is out, he won't listen to us.

Izzy, you could always join the chosen and climb the tower like your parents did. What happens if you win? Right now you are just the towers pawn, placed in our way to slow down or even stop the Chosen. But what happens after that... you stay here. You don't get to explore because now you are a tool of the Tower. The Tower will decide your fate and it will for sure push you to keep fighting chosen until you are defeated.

You said you are ok with the Tower turning against you, but it won't this way. The only way for the you to be free is to climb the tower. Unfortunately you are not the chosen and can't be as a denizen of the Tower. But you can climb with the Chosen. Join us like your parents did and you can reach true freedom. There will be plenty of sex on the way up that doesn't involve enslaving your birth race and manipulating others with cheap tricks.

If your still set on fighting... Everyone get ready and spread out. Take should cloak and reposition to fire her bow at first. If Izzy approaches cloak again to reposition and strike. Mal should charge the bow elves with Bull. Bull from the last fight had entangling vines, if Izzy approaches ensnare him. Mal please keep focus on the fight, remember that you have a toy you can use after the fight. Iralians should open fire on all three to suppress, then try to focus on disabling Izzy by aiming for his wings.

I’m going to address Izzy directly:
Izzy, let’s end things here. You don’t have to do this. You’ve got people who care about you. There’s your moms, the goblins, Maple and Sally, Vader, and even Take and Malphiel (in spite of what you’ve tried to do to them). And you care about them too. You trapped Goma and Isalia in the Deep because you knew they’d try to stop you from doing this but didn’t want to hurt them. You’ve avoided touching the goblins because you still see them as family. When Take came, you just wanted to form a connection with her, and the only thing stopping that is this cult nonsense and the misogyny.
We can just end this here, Izzy. Disband the cult. Apologize to the people you’ve hurt. And then you’ve got a couple of options. One is to join Take’s party, the other is to simply travel to other floors to broaden your horizons on your own. We’ve reopened the path to the Deep and we’ll be clearing a path to the fairies’ floor soon enough, and I’m sure Goma knows other ways to travel the Tower separate from the routes the Chosen use. You’re welcome to join us, but we won’t force you. But what you need right now is to own up to what you’ve done to the people on this floor, and then see the world for yourself. Sally can speak to that. She imprisoned the people of Iralia and fought Yulia and her party, including your moms. After being beaten by Yulia, she joined her party to ascend the rest of the Tower and since that journey ended she has been helping the people of Iralia. She can speak to the guilt she feels and the path to redemption, and I can assure you things will be easier on you if you bow out without a fight here.
Who are you even doing this for? Yourself? Can you truly say you’d rather enslave the goblins and Take than traveling to other floors yourself? Broadening your horizons, meeting new people? The ones who actually benefit from this are people who don’t care about you, who are manipulating you. Ash Meddai is dead, and in life he terrorized and raped the goblins who raised you. Malia is just a sick parody of Yulia created by the Tower Below to hurt her by hurting others with her face. Dreg is the former king of the fairies who just wants what’s worst for them, and is using you as an obstacle to keep the Chosen from ever reaching their floor. He eats the fairy guides sent to help the Chosen. He used his role in repelling the floor monsters to force the goblins to have sex with him, and he let the previous one Lumberer in as a punishment to them before. None of them care about you. They just view you as a tool they can use. You’re a victim of their machinations, Izzy, and the only one who can end that is you.

If things turn into a fight, I’ll defer to Lurker’s tactics. But I will add one warning: watch out for Dreg. He’s still on this floor. He can’t actively interfere, but if he’s attacked he can fight back. And no one on this floor can defeat him. Be wary of stray shots. I’m also worried that these masks the cultists have been using are part of a plot to mix Dreg into their ranks so be wary of that.

Dang I didn't think of the masks, good point.
