I'm surprised they couldn't find any sex in Emily's route. Lindsey and Susan had no problem with that.

 

I did give it three tries. Hit two bad ends and a dead end. So...such is life. Seriously though, I'm not sure if I did well given the format; a kind of "Let's Play" seemed more appropriate than an overall review.

 

Honestly probably yeah, Dustbin and Hunters are super non-linear and Emily especially is basically like several different paths that branch extremely rapidly. Like each possible choice given regarding Officer Halo except one leads to entirely separate branches and the "phones" and "Evidence" choice in the "she can't do it" branch itself gives you two very different branches.

Edit: I used to be a huge fan of the Fighting Fantasy Game Books and they are definitely the style I'm trying to emulate in Dustbin and Hunters to a lesser degree.

Another Edit: I also should note in case I haven't already that Hunters is not up for review. At least not until I get the first actual hunt completed.

 

I can't throw any stones when it comes to "branching extremely rapidly," though the way our stories are set up is very different. If/when I ever finish LLNO, I plan to do a Fighting Fantasy-style story.

Okay, I can put them both down. I didn't do this before because nobody else was using it until now.

 

I'd definitely like to submit my new story, The Bloodhound Rides Again, once it's got a few more chapters. Maybe once there've been 2/3 arcs, or "bounties" completed.

I'm sorry about that comment, it was a little pissy. To be fair, I have enjoyed other things about Dark Lord, and actually spent a much bigger chunk of my Saturday reading it than I intended.
