Well I've tried to go down a route of Alice in wonderland (my take on it) lots of interesting ways I can take it but feel it would only be me that understood it :) couple of chapters in and the confusion has already set in with trying to create a world that we all know but with a Grimm spin
Ok, if you've tried outside your comfort zone and gotten nowhere, see if those stories have anything in common other than being outside the comfort zone, and try again, eschewing that(/those) common element(s). If all they have in common is being outside your comfort zone and written by you, then it is time to return to the comfort zone.
Just based on a quick glance at the listed ideas I note that they all seem to feature hallucination/psychedelic/dream-image/insanity themes, perhaps that's the common element that's giving you trouble?
Yes it's the mood I've been in but obviously not enough, or don't have the imagination for it.....
I'm tempted to do another Jessica’s Choices as I like the little universe I've built with her but I would also like to finish one arrghhhhhh!!! Lots of balls in the air
May i suggest that you try to write something Where Jessica isn't abused. Say an infatuation and eventual catching of a love interest in High school before you turned her life into a living hell! Please for her sake let her know some type of happiness!
Although I agree with trying to write a happier tale of Jessica, I started the stories with her young, I can't really go much further back and could change the older stories? But I agree and has been something that I've thought about.
Suppose I could write another story into collection? Where it all began? Then have the last chapter lead into the first?
