I am very empathetic towards this problem. I have been doing far too much of it myself...

I've been getting my tcg fix off Eternal (PC or android tcg app).

They're really generous with packs. (You really can play for free with some time investment) and they take a lot of good lessons off Magic (better than hearth stone) while streamlining it for better/easier online play.

Solid drafting formats, too.

I played it a lot during the 90's and 2000's but haven't bought any since 6th edition lol

mah boii get on Magic: Arena. It's a lot cheaper than paper

@chris_brown I played Magic from 2005-2008 before taking a loong break from it. I only just started getting back into it.

@Swallows999 I play Arena almost daily. However, there's a certain sense of enjoyment involved with owning and playing the physical thing. Also I get tired of the constant stream of Teferi UW control decks.

@merkos ive actually got SOME autographed cards from it,including some by at least one now-deceased artist

ive actually thought from time to time if i should get back into it,depending on how expensive it is these days compared to when i was active last

I'm way too addicted to Magic to give a reasonable answer to that conundrum. I'm the guy who throws $60 at one card that i really really want just so i can stare at it in a protected binder right now.

To the best of your knowledge does Dan Frazier still do illustrations for the game?

Most of the original artists have gone. I know they brought one back for their most recent Dominaria block, but I don't remember who.

guess ill have to do soem research,i know Quinton Hoover is dead
