Why are many authors' concept of bullying something out of the TV? Or movies from the 80's? Or something else so out of touch.

What's next? A woman showing her legs is erotic enough for some people and anything further than that would be too much?

I mean….I get the appeal. It’s cliched and all, but fun. Still. To be real with you, a grown college adult in their 20s needing their parents to step in for them might actually kind of deserve what they get.

Yet, none of these bullying stories of this whole “real man” thing do they even entertain the idea of fucking the father.

Uh, maybe those silly stories are just supposed to sublimate situations more real but also more prone to censorship.
Was I vague enough?

Most likely because many of them are quite clearly for all intents and purposes supposed to represent people younger than what their stated age would suggest and they only get stated as being in college to cross the t's and dot the i's in passing it off as supposed to be about adults.

So the answer to my question was yes ;)
