the comments are all different but also similiar enough that I think it's the same person. Which only has me more perplexed. Is it trolls? Russian bots? Aliens? There must be a logical explanation for it.

It could be a follow the leader situation. They saw one dude ask to have the account deleted and as they also wanted to do that, they used a similar message. Bots I do not suspect would bother with this. But some folks do create multiple porn accounts.
