Is Tyranny any good? Wait, let me rephrase that question - Does it have a similar combat system to Pillard of Eternity? Because i really despise that system and can't get into the story when i have to deal with that 'Not Action but not Round-Based, no Grinding allowed' Fuckfest....i really hate games with levelling systems that don't allow me to level out of control.

Starts out with a bit of a board game like section of cool little animations and choices about the invading army and then straight into gameplay thats just straight up pillars. I tried it at a mates place and it was great.

Not for me then. I played about ten hours of pillars, while i really liked the story i can't stomach that combat system. Sad actually. I tried Baldur Gate once, same problem. Divinity: Original Sin i could play but that is where i draw the line with these types of games.

Yeah, pretty much pillars. I don't particularly care for the combat either, but I really enjoy the story, so I keep coming back. It's a problem.
