I don't think I ever wrote more than 6 pages at a time (and that extremely infrequently) before I started writing porn last year.

My main linear story has almost 100k words, although only 147 pages. The only stories i wrote before that were OTHER porn fictions also on this site, within the last year or so.

Pretty similar situation we got here. Funny how finding something of interest really gets once motor running.

Good on both of you: I've never managed to crack 25 chapters on anything.

That's not all bad... Half a novel's worth + (and growing) is a lot of linear sex and plot to get through if a reader is just trying to get off.

I do know that I have an unhealthy fondness for ellipsis and for breaking up dialogue and paragraphs with lots and lots of spacing...

How that factors in over time to increasing my overall page count vs word count...

That could be it then, especially my later chapters contain few breaks and i only, if ever, use Ellipsis in speech or thought these days.
