As far as the "Don't panic" part...I have chronic anxiety issues. I don't think I am capable of NOT panicking. However, I also have a history of Rising to the Occasion. So often I get all of my anxiety and panicking worked out during the lead-up, then be just fine during the...whatever was causing me issues.

New jobs are a little overwhelming. Even entry level jobs. Everyone gets that. You'll do fine.

Normally I would have broken it up into two chapters, but I couldn't really find a great spot to do it. The very first part of it is entirely linear with no chance of branching out at all and I wanted it to end at a very specific point for a very specific reason, but then it kept going and going and going...

I estimate my writing is closer to The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini. Where on the surface they seem pretty good, but looking closer they're full of flaws, cliches, and rip-offs of other things...And has a terrible film adaptation.

I mean, come on. There's a lesbian scene surrounded by male pirates whose entire purpose in the scene is to shout random pirate memes. I don't know If i should be aroused or amused and it's very confusing.
