It is exciting that CHYOA has been getting new updates. I have been using the site for a while now both as a reader and a writer and the challenge I face when looking for new stories is limited search capabilities. Especially with large established stories with many branches the only way to...

One of my biggest issues with the search refining is that you can only narrow by what you want rather than by what you don't. Many times i'm not searching for a story in a particular genre, i can appreciate a lot of kinks but there are some things that do not appeal. I would much rather be...

View Story Map is invaluable when navigating this website. Often I find myself wanting to search for recent posts. Currently dates are expressed in month-day-year format. If there were an option to display posts in year-month-day format or day-month-year format, then I could search for posts...

Preface: I did a little searching for old threads on this topic, and didn't find what I was looking for ... though maybe that's kind of meta, since my issue is about how the search functions on the site work. When searching for content, I understand most of it, but I don't know how "relevance"...

I cant seem to find a certain story Ive read on here before, maybe Im lucky and someone here knows which one Im talking about? (Search doesnt turn up anything unfortunately) - Story is about a male college/university student changing the bodies of students & professor around him - One branch...

I don't know about anyone else, but sometimes, I read a story description, and I get excited about adding to it in a certain area, only to go through, & it's never there. I was wondering if there's a way to search for a word, term, etc. in a specific story? Author's work? (I know some stories...

Depending on the length of each chapter and the number of branching nodes can make a chapter depth of 20 a very long or a very short story. Using total number of chapters and maybe average word count per chapter or total word count could also be used to help understand how developed the story...

The Date format should be changed to international standard. Simple reason: say you want to search something by date, but you only know year and month. Right now you'd have to brute force up to 31 times, when in the normal format you could just type "[month][year]" in the search bar and the...

When i tried to search stories sorting them by rating, i was baffled why do stories with public contributions are ranked so high. Not once i seen a solid story among them, only overbloated abominations with inconsistent writing and fetishes. And yet, you stumble upon dead end after 3 clicks and...

Is there any chance that there will be an option to hide a story you don't want to see in the search results ?

Was there a new update I wasn’t aware of? Searching up tags or chapter titles in the search engine of the site, I can’t select to search by chapters anymore. It’s only either stories or authors. If this was a conscious decision, it seems like a pretty limiting one. Am I the only one affected, or...
