I think there is no clear receipt to get contributions. It just happens or not.
If I contribute to other stories, I will have less writing time for my other projects, so besides writing a chapter out of a whim, I usually think carefully about where I add on. That's especially true if it is an idea which can't be told in one chapter.
To get Feedback in form of Likes, readers have to notice your story. As your story didn't have time in the New Stories section, it has to get the attention of the readers through time on the Updated Story section. To get more attention there, I'd recommend a nice, appealing picture.
About feedback on the content itself...
The introduction consists of 333 words and uses the word "she" 25 times (every 14th word). A lot of them (at least the half) could be avoided if you alternate in writing "she", "Angelina", "Prof. Williams", or using a descriptive term like "the intelligent woman", "the black woman".
I'm not a native speaker and one reason for reading and writing is to improve my language skills, so I'd prefer fewer typos. (Using Grammarly on your introduction shows 9 issues.)
In the last paragraph, instead of letting her hear a tire blow, you could make her hear a loud bang. Her heart could skip a beat as she might mistake the sound for a gun before feeling the car swerve. After stopping the car, she could groan in frustration. Why doesn't she have a spare tire? Why doesn't her phone work? Is it one of her habits not to load the cell or is there no service? (though that won't quite fit the upper-class district)
