Agents of L.U.S.T. (Sign-ups open again)

Well, we seem to be getting new players, and since @Omegah2o seems to no longer be playing, we should probably change adventures... any suggestions for the new world?

Also, you're welcome to talk to me about the ideas @Marlikton.

 

Had a crazy idea about a Venom like creature driving it's host to copulate with women and when they orgasm together the alien splits creating another like itself but for the opposite sex. (I saw the movie Venom and the female and male Venom gave me the idea. As for a world for your game Mid evil times or life among the pillaging Vikings maybe?

Well I've played D&D before so I understand the concept, but where is this game being played? Eg Roll 20. Also is there more background on the setting? Do characters and their races need to fit into the plot or is it being made up as it goes along. What about these unique items as you mentioned.

Notes: Like most Alraune’s, her actual physical arms for her body itself are weak and often uses her thorns and vines to compensate. While deceptively fast for something supposedly rooted in the ground, she still holds issues with things like stairs or upper floors of places where she can't root into the ground easily for balance.


Background: Born in the royal gardens of the castle, her knowledge with things is limited other than the use of things like common sense. Her looks always captivated the guards and nobles of her home, though she would still be considered ordinary by the standards of her race, for not possessing an unique kind of pattern on her flower petals or looking vibrant enough. While she enjoyed the life she had lived in the garden, after turning 28 and yet having to find a mate for her, she jumped at the first chance she saw on getting out in the world, in order to complete her own personal quest. Finding a husband/wife.

Hearing about what L.U.S.T does from nobles in her kingdom, she decided that was the place she wanted to be into accomplish her own motivations. Like most of her demon-flower race, she possess something of a sadistic side and is somewhat vain. While perhaps not the most lovely flower in her world, she reasoned that she would be able to travel to other places and eventually be seen as the most beautiful being on other planets. The natural allure of the plant-girl swayed the L.U.S.T recruiter when he finally arrived after manipulating several favors from nobles to bring one to the castle. Her natural looks and the cunning that compensated for her lack of academic knowledge was enough to influence the recruitment into letting her join up with them. Nobody would be looking at her to come up with any complex plans, but that's not the reason people look at her to begin with and she knows just how to utilize both, what they are really looking at, and the fact that nobody really excepts her to know much.

 

GE, question, if we're starting over from scratch, would it be fun or annoying to have another S.L.I.T. Character?

So is any race good? or do some make more sense than others?

 

Any race is good. You could probably justify anything at all - the multiverse has a lot of variety.

By the way, I'm thinking of using 1d10 rather than 1d6 for checks... any thoughts on that?

 

1 d10 means we will win or lose by a wider margin and so might take more damage.

 

Also makes critical success and failure rarer, which is (I think) what you were going for, but that can be both a good and bad thing.

(Agreeing with Fierbali111 that it does make things awkward for damage throughput with the present system...)

 

Not at all, I was looking for a greater element of chance in the game.
